I’d say it’s more the order of how it’s been done that leads to inevitable disappointment. If you’d told people before release that they’d have four brand new non-dlc Forzathon shop cars in the first two months as well as some recycled hotwheels/hoonigan cars they’d have been pretty happy. But putting the four new, most exciting cars in the first four weeks has built expectation that this would become a trend and we’d have new cars each week (in addition to dlc).
I’m actually happy with the content as it stands regardless, but even I felt underwhelmed initially when I compared this month’s offering to what we received in the first month.
Are you joking right? Last week that fantasy twin mill, this week bone shaker fake car and FE car we can buy or win in wheelspins and now the same cars only after one month from release??? It was stated that there will be one NEW car every week and it already looks like false advertisement to me… It’s enough to make a refund at least or to even create a lawsuit.
Twin Mill and Boneshaker are both real cars, that have been made for Hot Wheels.
Also, new in this case means new to Forzathon. I realize that isn’t the case with these 4 for voting; however, only if you didn’t have the game for early access. For those that did not the Porsche is new, there is no false advertisement here. No grounds for a lawsuit or refund.
Was it possible for people without early access and without Xbox Live Gold to get enough Forzathon points to buy it before the season changed? I don’t have the Porsche and I think it’s because I simply couldn’t get enough points in time.
30 Forzathon points in 1hr. I don’t remember the price of that Porsche but maximum 300 points. And we have 10 forzathons or 9 hours of playing. I think it’s more then possible if we are talking even about 3-4 days. You can log in just for Forzathons if you need this car so badly.
After all it doesn’t change the thing that anyone could get it if they really wanted and that the car already was in forzathon shop and putting ANY car that was in the F Shop already is a false advertisement and shouldn’t be done.
Put it in the seasonal championship as a price for winning if people want it so badly but give us NEW car! We already lost two weeks with this hot wheels cars anyway.
Could they? I sure as hell couldn’t. I pre-ordered the ultimate edition and picked it up on the Saturday due to a family emergency. Because of the same family emergency I didn’t get home till Monday. Installing the game and the update(s) took till the early hours of Wednesday morning by the look of things. Getting through the prologue took me a few days due to long working hours and a limited amount of time to play. You seem like a younger fellow with not a lot going on if you think people should have to, or be able to, schedule time to play a game at certain times just to get some in-game content.
That said, please tell me again how easy it was for me to get it
If I were you it would be clear to me that it’s my personal problem. I could have some circumstances too and it’s ok and I understand that noone should “wait” for me. I paid for 3 new cars in a week and if I’m not getting it it’s a false advertisement ant that’s a fact. If they really want to give people opportunity to get that car - they can make it a reward from seasonal championship. Me personally I don’t understand why even do exclusive cars - it’s not MMO or something - people paid for the game and they want to be able to drive ANY car in the game. Want to make it rare? Put 10 000 000 price on it. But why for example Subaru WRX 04 is so rare? I could buy it in FH3 for the money I have after couple of races - ANYTIME! Same with other cars that suddenly became rare. Honda Civic 04? MB E65? What so special about them?
I’m sorry for being rude maybe but we talking not about free time and circumstances but about statement they did before release. 1 NEW car EVERY week. No * marks with small letters on the buttom like “new to forzathon” or something. NEW in this case means 1 car that wasn’t in the game before. Same for FE cars. That’s not a NEW car. It was in a wheelspin and even if it wasn’t - it just a moded car that already WAS in the game.
I think the question is more how regularly you were playing the prologue. If you didn’t get through the prologue within the week you wouldn’t have had the chance to get it.
As the Porsche was the only car which was very short time available for non-Ultimate Edition users - I think it would be the fairest if this one would return.
