- Tests the limits of your capabilities.
- Fun.
- The AMR Pro looks really good and sounds good too.
- More balanced, as everyone runs the AMR Pro anyway.
That sounds like cope to me
âFunâ - trying to survive as everyone crash everywhere not being able to handle fastest car in the gameâŚ
And tbh these fast cars are not even that fun, since itâs just brain afk with proper tune⌠The only problem is traffic, I played a lot S2 class In horizon just to try tunes⌠Itâs boring 4f.
Idk I get more adrenaline when I race side by side in slow (b/a class) cars, when u trying to outsmart your oponent.
And also supercars/hypercars suck.
Give me old RX-7 and I will trade any hypercar for itâŚ
âtrying to survive as everyone crash everywhere not being able to handle fastest car in the gameâ
See, I play loads of X and P class and I rarely ever see this happen. I see it more often in slower classes and spec races.
Also you contradicted yourself lol. âbrain afk with proper tuneâ and âeveryone crash everywhere not being able to handle fastest car in the gameâ
So which is it?
Hard agree, miss my rx7 on fh5, now so ugly on fm8 that i never use it anymore
My baby for do some touge at volcano ![]()
One more time : NEED FUJIMI KAIDO
It might be brain afk, but faster car means itâs harder to judge braking points and u have less time to react, S class by itself is prime example of this, everyone want to race fast cars, bo not everyone can handle itâŚ
So just turn on the braking line?
One reason i can add on why i donât play x (or p/rclass) , is that i canât make the car feel like my own.
If i take a f1, a lmp or whatsoever racing car, amr pro, or hyper/super car
The job is already done on the car, you have a big width, best tyres compound, a highly/fully upgraded engine, aero etc etc.
But iâm not even going to make a R class brz because i like modify my car, 1st itâs going to be very bad, but i also wouldnât consider this car as my own.
If it was possible to create, to build my own racing car (like build a new f1), so maybe i would have an interest for those class.
This helps answer the threadâs original question (which is why I asked the follow-up).
- A large percentage of this gameâs players arenât skilled enough to drive S- Class cars, let alone anything faster. Their skill ceiling is far below X.
- Highly subjective and while you may enjoy X, many do not
- Itâs also paid DLC, and a class is more than a single car
- Having a paid DLC car be the only competitive choice alienates those who do not have access to it
I like X, and I hotlap Nordschleife to âcool downâ, but thatâs an extremely minority preference.
From experience the popularity of classes tends to take a Bell Curve approach, so itâs understandable that the extremes (E and X) are far less popular than the middle (B, A and S).
Another thing, I like trying different cars and builds, driving one op X class car over and over again is just boring for me.
- you get away with turning on every assist possible and hardly lose any time.
I enjoy lower classes (B to E) more because they offer more in terms of wheel to wheel battling.
Entering a corner two (or sometimes three) cars wide and exiting still side by side. Being able to set up a different line to counter the defence of the car ahead. Having the freedom to drive multiple lines without losing too much time.
In X class (same for P and maybe top of R) there is only one racing line, going off that line will mean messing up the next couple of corners. And the only way to overtake is if the car ahead made a mistake (or made the mistake of driving too safe).
There is no margin for error and mistakes are punished hard. To some this can be their challenge, but to me thereâs nothing better than some proper wheel to wheel racing with battles that last multiple laps.
You just gotta upload the close races we had and the ones you had with others so these people can see that the same wheel to wheel racing experiences that they praise in the lower classes is still possible in X.
If we had permanent alphabet hoppers the X class community would naturally weed itself out as well as every other lettered hopper. But turn10 would have to stop rearranging the lobbies after the race ends. Worked perfectly fine in FM5 and 6

So do they irl. I donât see the big deal. Stop shaming people for using assists.
Nobody is shaming anyone here - just straight facts. I use assists myself and there is nothing wrong with it.
Turn on all assists in E class though and youâre 10 seconds off. There is a reason why you sweat x and p class exclusively.
Actually Iâve won E class races just as easily, itâs just boring driving under the speed limit in a racing game.
Interest
Itâs more boring for me to reach those insane speed. I feel like âwhy so much speed ?â âDid i need it ?â ![]()
I already consider reaching 220 km/h as something insane and if i can go over that, so the straight line is probably too much long
But thatâs probably because the 1st type of race i like is âtouge racingâ
If i canât imagine a car racing here, itâs instantly doesnât interest me
Because I canât create a public lobby and have it listed in a server browser. Come back here occasionally to see whats going on and log onto forza occasionally for a race or two but the restriction on lobby/car/track rules really sucks the fun out of the game. I donât want to race against other people who are using abs/traction/stability/racing lines and I donât want to be forced into a 30-40 minute rotation on tracks that I may or may not want to play.
why does it matter who is running assists or not? It has no affect on you.
how does it not affect me?
