Why did Playground Games use the normal Huracan dashboard instead of the Performante dashboard?

Seriously it feels like youre driving the normal Huracan with a orange stripe on your steering wheel instead of the Performante. Also theres something wrong with the dashboard. Its redlined at 6K RPM and on the speedometer its on 8,5K. This is the startup dashboard when the engine is cold. Hoping they sort this out before this car comes available next week. This is just unacceptable!

This is how it should look like …

I said it…

And the Dashboard “Whiteout”.

That’s a selectable dashboard display in Huracans. Changes with buttons adjusting tune, fore-aft drive balance and some other things.
Strada,/Sport/Corsa. You can see “CORSA” displayed lower right side of tach arc directly next to the 10.

Check this.

…With such mindset the game can never evolve.

The real Clutch Nixon pushed himself to the limits of human ability.

The Clutch Nixon of this forum contents himself with mediocrity.

Supra: Bazillion bodykits, custom new sound, no significant bugs.
488 Pista: Bad lighting on gauge, paddles that move, paint bug where the stripes are placed.

300ZX (Fairlady Z): Bugged suspension fixed soon after release.
Hyundai Veloster N: Bugged suspension remains unfixed since late 2018.

Anyone wondering why I hate this “car culture” BS of today, this is why. Plastimports favored over new releases…

Huracán sounds different from R8. It needs a completely new sound, not a copy/paste (of any kind).

I can speak well to both complaints. Lol. I don’t fit demographic well but it’s fun between track days.
I’ve got a 16 Huracan 610-4 and a 14 E63S wagon. Have pics but not hosted. A host killed a few thousand photos a year or 2 back. Kek. I pointed out it was correct in Huracan. I didn’t bother in E63 post. If people going to knock something, at least do research or actually sit in one.
Pm me if you want to post shot in my garage for me.
Smh.
The first dash photo is in info mode, you can put Nav or whatever on lower right. You can dump that, and tach moves to center like photo in OP. Switch to Corsa mode with wheel button and it turns into lower photo. Schmee has video about dash but it’s long, so nevermind. Look it up if need be.

Sfumato is correct: The difference between these images are the different display modes available in the Huracan Performante. As the games don’t show all the different permutations of all the modern cars with their various display modes, what you are seeing in game is the default screen display, Strada mode.

Fair point JONK, but redline is still incorrectly positioned. Though it’s a much smaller issue than the whole dials being wrong.

Strada mode makes sense in Forza Horizon. Hopefully, when the car comes to Forza Motorsport, it can also have Corsa mode, like the McLaren 720S has.

Yeah, many never ever sat inside such a car, but everyone is an expert on how it looks from the inside. And then “REEEEE, fix it!”

Btw, on this page you can find a picture of the gauges looking the same like the ones in the screenshot from PG’s stream.

This is why the gaming community is considered as the worst and most toxic.

“This is unacceptable, REEEEEEEEEE…”

A job worth doing is a job worth doing right. These are moronic and lazy mistakes done by people who obviously don’t care enough.

People like you are the problem and are the reason why a lot of game devs just don’t give a damn. You sound like the same idiot who was replying to EVERYONE on the Youtube comments today when anyone had the nerve to actually point out what is wrong with the Performante.

Thanks. Couldn’t find that version. I stuffed it in my original post in middle.
Props and credit.
Not everyone lucky enough to sit in, ride in, or own. I’m lucky, survived some ugly stuff, and life is far to short to get upset over nonsense.
There are things in FH and Forza I dislike. But getting bent kills the fun. If it’s not fun, do other stuff.
I believe any of you can work hard, and get amazing stuff, do amazing things. I’m cynical, but positive. Find your best, not others flaws.
Peace

That’s a nice mindset. But do you race your 610 in Strada with the engine ice cold? Your E63’s parking indicators function as RPM lights and the awful stance in Forza looks just fine to you? I don’t see what’s wrong with pointing out issues and hoping things improve in this otherwise great game. I would assume people who spot flaws sat in plenty cars.

So the dials may be correct but the redline is still wrong.

Dont get your hopes and and thats normal with forza.
Alot of cars have wrong interiors or dials.
Like example p1 gtr have street dashboard instead of track version and if u want to be most amazed look lancia delta s4 group b rally car it has street car interior lol.

I loved to see a fucntion like in project cars wehre u can scroll dashboards/motec screens, for me it would be very important since im driving interior and hud off so all info comes from dash but im not gonna even get any hopes for it. uh and also look some of the gt3 cars they used most usless motec screens for the cars where is nothing important in that game.

I think they have exact interior so it’s not easy to have different one? Maybe it’s not their fault?

This is too obvious to be a mistake on their part. I’m hoping that due to legal issues they couldn’t show the actual interior until the car is been officially released to the game. I hope:grinning::grinning:

Update : Sfumato720 is right about the mode changing dashboards; check out the Lamborghini website video: https://www.lamborghini.com/en-en/lamborghini-huracan-performante-interior

Sadly they haven’t fixed a lot of things, which is why I don’t like it. Garage size evidently part of game engine, so can’t be expanded?? We’ve had more than limit for a few games now. Lag/slow roll over times, stuff that is huge. The stupid award marker in Forzathon. The AI stuff, the unfixed leader board glitches, and on and on. The “should”, the “can” and the “don’t care” fixes at this point pretty clear.

So if the game is this late in cycle, even with new cars, it ain’t going to happen. I guess they need to get a new game engine that accommodates a lot of the stuff they can’t do (some was mentioned on last months mixer in Q&A). After either F6 or FH3, I no longer pre-order, as the first month or more is too buggy for me to even want to play.

Look at this as a contractor (ok Boomer, sorry) that starts to repaint your room and fix your bathroom. Does 85%, then ghosts. You have to live in that. You paid for that. It bites. But until you pay someone to fix what is still messed up, or the guy that ghosted comes back, you’re hosed. In many ways, we’re hosed. I plan on not buying FH5, and I played and never bought F7. After seeing how entire tune and livery libraries deleted for a creators ban, even temporary, with no chance of change or even discussion, I’m done.

Wish I had better news, or people did complete jobs. Not that way in life, games, or business. I’m used to done once, done correctly. But if I let others failings kill my progress/fun/successes, I’d be nowhere.

Don’t let BS knock you down. It’s wrong, annoying and ethically questionable. And in this case, #notgonnahappen.

…Let’s see how far they can go on this way.

Also, Why did they use the normal old sad Huracan sound instead of the insanely good R8 / ID Zero Uno / Huracan sound?! Same engine in all 3 cars. What gives?!
