why cant we get rain or dlc packs for xbox 360

I’ve been playing forza for like 4 years now on xbox 360 and not once have i complained but i only have one question, what happned to horizon 2 on xbox 360. I understand that the game was developed by to diffrenet people but honestly no dlc, no rain, no bently come on now. This is unacceptable and i feel this game is not worth the 50 dollars i had to spend online to buy this half and half game. Forza horizon 1 was great and atleast at the end we got 5 mill, there are million dollar cats in this game and the most we get on the last race is 25,000. Xbox 1 owners get 1 million thats a really big difference. A other thing is why cant we have public free roam that would make this game a hell of a lot better than just inviting friends to play. Whag im trying to say is i know yall are betyer than this please fix this game think about the people who bought tbis online and cant get a refund please fix it.

Nobody made you buy the game. This is a perfect example of why I don’t buy stuff on release day. I like to give it a day or two to hear real world reviews of the games. There’s no award for standing in line at midnight to buy a game that sucks and doesn’t live up to the hype.

Also this is why I NEVER buy digital copies. Can’t return them and can’t trade them in for different games.

Mike is right. If you’re going to spend your money, do some research first. Only buy digital games if you know you will like them because you can’t return them or trade hem in. And isn’t this thread kinda late to the party?

That said, even at launch it was made very clear and apparent that there would be no rain in the Xbox 360 version. The logic for this was, and still is, simple - the console couldn’t handle the rain in past titles, and it can’t handle it now. Sure, they could put rain into the game for the sake of rain, but at what cost? It wouldn’t alter the handling characteristics of cars because the Xbox 360 could not handle all the extra behind the scenes that is necessary to do so and it would just be purely a visual aesthetic. Then, I’m sure people much like yourself would complain that the game finally has rain but it’s only visual.

Again, there was much stated about the Xbox One version of the game. All the hype, news, and media attention was on the xbox one game and not the 360 version. Everything about the 360 version was stated to not be as fancy as the xbox One version. Even waiting a day or two would have revealed this. In either case, no one forced you to buy this, you did not have to buy it - let alone digital, could have always got a hard copy to be safe and get $40 back at Gamestop. You could have gotten the Xbox One version as well, but if you recently purchased this and did no research, it’s on you mate.

You are asking the developers to fix something, but I was under the impression you don’t fix something that is not broken. The game is not broken, it’s exactly as intended. Unfortunately, that doesn’t meet up to your standards.

It’s my opinion that FH2 was designed primarily for the Xbone, and Sumo’s task was to make it run on a much less potent machine. This meant removing features like weather, tuning, and the advanced a.i.

This also led to some upset 360 players. Unfortunate, but it is what it is. Given the hardware limitations of the 360 (which was initially designed over 10 years ago), I think they did the best they could. Be thankful, they didn’t have to make a 360 version at all… Indeed, most devs would not have done.

Edit: no idea why they’d forgo DLC for the 360 though. I guess they thought it wasn’t worth it. No company turns down a potential revenue stream without good reason.
