Why can't I sell 20m?

Lexus and Clio will be given as prizes again this month. When I want to sell it, the view I see is terrible. Only 180 thousand cr. But why? Not 20, not 11 reasons, even 1m.

Demir I believe it has to do with Tuning Reputation . You need to have so many “Likes” to be able to sell at maximum value. Hope this helps

To achieve the ability to sell stuff up to 20 million requires one to be a “legendary” painter or tuner.

To do that, you need 50,000 in likes, downloads and uses combined.

The AH limits minimum and maximum prices but the maximum can go up to 20 million for anyone but it is largely out of a player’s control - it’s the way the market is operating at the time that dictates the values. I think maybe the Legend status means the value can be fixed at a minimum of 20 million.

The algorithm uses sales history to determine the max buyout available. In this case it’s been so long since there has been enough going through the auction house that the buyout dropped back to the base values. There’s many cars with this same problem.

There are players that have legendary paint or tuner status that allows them to sell anything up to the 20m amount. That’s separate from the algorithm they’re using for this though.

As others have said you either need to be Legendary Tuner or Painter to be able to sell any car for 20M

The Auction House updates Midnight GMT time and this changes the maximum price a car can be sold at. PGG haven’t specified how the algorithm works but basically it increases/decreases the maximum price based of sales history. So a new car that’s released starts low and as people sell the car the price creeps up. With new cars they pretty much sell out instantly so values can quickly increase. Once they get to a high enough figure more and more people sell and obviously price increases and most likely reach 20M. Then sales reduce and the figure starts to drop.

So the 2 cars in question haven’t been on the playlist for a while so sales would of dropped off, to the point there have been zero on the Auction House when I was looking a few minutes ago.

Being a Legendary Tuner or Painter requires 50,000 downloads, uses and likes in a combined manner. So will require you to either Paint or Tune cars and get people to download, like and use. Then to sell a car for 20M you just need to either paint the car or tune it depending on which Legendary status you have achieved. Tuning is easier to do in get the car to 20M as all you need to do is adjust a setting, so tyre pressure is the go to for me. Apply the setting and its automatically been saved as the car being tuned by you and can be sold for 20M.

If you cant sell the cars for what you want now then while you will be able to win them the cars are so cheap on the auction house then prices will rise again once the car is available to win. So it maybe worth holding on to them and trying to pick a moment when the cars are still in demand to be sold.

It also takes a while, ( a few weeks, up to a month ) for newly added cars that can be earned through the Festival playlist to reach 20 million, i always wait a few weeks, and keep checking the max selling price before putting the non interesting cars up for sale in the auction house.
