It’s interesting seeing everyones comments on DJS lack of content. I remember watching a FH5 prerelease video from him and he clearly was unsatisfied with what he was seeing but was keeping it professional especially since PGG granted him early access. I guess that explains alot…
I only watch HokiHoshi and DJS sometimes. All the others are super annoying and just post clickbait crap. Or they do 10 min. videos of things everybody with half a brain already knows (HOW TO PAINT YOUR CAR IN FORZA HORIZON 5!!! YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS!!! :O)
I also especially like DJS because he drives without assists unlike some who even make drift tutorial videos with traction control on and using auto transmission, I mean, seriously?

I did also enjoyed watching Stevio feature PlageBLN. It’s cool how that came about too. DJS is a flashy driver and gave me confidence to play with the car and see stunts as I drive about, but there is not really an iceberg with this game.
If you’d never played a Forza game before you didn’t miss anything.

I remember watching HokiHoshi’s vids on tuning in FH4 and thought they were well done. Even watched one he did for FH5 and it was also very well put together, concise, and free of all the extra fluff. So, although I wouldn’t necessarily say that I “follow” him, I do appreciate the well formatted and informative vids he does, and I don’t remember him ever being overly needy in regards to begging for likes & subs, so there’s that.

Idk, the KV-2 has a pretty small cannon. Probably heavy though.
The worst option in my opinion is to mention that kind of name. Even saying negative things only creates further awareness and curiosity.
I know what you mean but let’s be real. The average FH5 topic gets 50 to 100 views. Meanwhile these content creators get anywhere from 20-40k views per vid. We couldn’t influence their view count even if we tried lol.
Best: Ericship111. I also like Skippy 4631. I also quite like watching Blackpanther but he does multiple car racing games which is quite good to see what else is out there.
Worst: Mitchcactus and by a long way.
I can tolerate Ar12 in small doses. His shouting style doesn’t appeal to me.

Yeah, I watched Blackpanthaa for The Crew 2 updates for awhile. I find him about as tolerable as AR12. Both of them get less tolerable the more excited they become.
Poor AR12 lol. Like I said in my OP I couldn’t stand his voice at first but now I can not only tolerate it but I actually it . I generally always watch his eventlab vids when he tries various submission from the community.

Man am I glad I didn’t dive deep into the social media surrounding FH.
DJS was my intro, but AR12 was my second one which made me nope out of ever looking deeper. I’m pretty particular about my YouTube channels already, but that personality completely turned me off of finding out what the rest of the FH community had to offer.
I’ve watched a handful of HokiHoshi and Isuckatdriving videos and they were ok. Ericship has come up in my feed often but I’ve never once clicked on it. Never had heard of MitchCactus. If they ever do come up in my feed, I’ll get them with that “never show channel in my feed again” setting.

The engine spacers thing is an inside joke
Hot take, I don’t really like Don Joewon Song. His videos, especially his stunt ones give off this “look how cool I am, wish you were this good at the game, right?” vibe. Not to mention his stunts are visually appealing, but only a handful of them look genuinely hard to do. His tunes also SUCK.
I think what tipped the scales is the fact he’s such a suck-up to Forza in general. Outside of the time he went on a Twitter rant about how bad the online is (he’s not wrong at all and was justified in doing so) he’s pretty much just kissed the game’s butt ignoring the less egregious issues and would vehemently defend the game from critics. If you badmouthed the game too much in front of him, he’d block you.
