So, is it just me, or does it seem awfully wet during dry season? ALL playlist races except for the “Trucks” was wet or pouring rain.

I know, right? I was just commenting on that in another thread. Classic PGG logic though, “hey, it’s the DRY season, so lets confuse and annoy everyone by making most of the races in the rain on wet roads.”. I guess we can expect snow in summer now.

I think there’s a history of staging most events in the rain no matter the country or season, at least back to FH4. They must have an exclusive deal on Forza Horizon car washes and waxes

Freeroam is dry (except the little bit of snow!) but why does the races need to be dry? Answer: they don’t need to be dry.
They are in the same season, the reasonable expectation is that they are also DRY. I get it, the game has weather. I don’t need every single race I run to be in the wet just to prove weather exists.

Actually the opposite, why not base the race weather on the free roam weather? Unless its a story, or Showcase.

I feel like if they’re going to do the seasons, then the races should at least mostly match the weather/season. They didn’t have summer races during winter in FH4, for example.

They did have summer races in FH3 when it was winter in northern hemisphere.
Yes, but… we’re not talking about real seasons in the real world. We’re talking about a video game with seasons that last a week each.
Also, FH3 didn’t even have seasons. That was introduced in 4.
Let’s be real. FH5 doesn’t have seasons lol. One week there’s a snow flake. Another week there’s an additional puddle.

In my experience the ambient and pavement temperatures change for each season. The result may be subtle at times but checking tire temps confirms it.
If you want to be real, neither did 4.
Well, since I live in a desert, it doesn’t rain much at all. Since you want to try and troll, in Australia winter is their “hot and dry” season.

Don’t be silly. FH4 definitely had seasons and did them well. The contrast between summer, spring, winter and autumn was night and day, both visually and handling wise.

The seasons weren’t that distinct. Just my opinion. It’s mostly wet in freeroam and championships regardless of the claimed season. Sometimes there were hay bales.
