Wheelie tune question?

Is rim weight a factor? Meaning if I’m getting a nice pop and wheel spin I can’t tune out thru my gears. Would heavier rims reduce wheel spin, and would the extra 20 pounds on the front end effect the pop that much?

I’ve been experienting, but I’m very new to horizon, and im just wondering if this has been discussed already. The last time I played forza was motorsport 2 on 360. I own horizon 3 as well.

We know, from the help speech in FH3, that the Forza Tech Engine supposedly does distinguish between sprung and unsprung weight. I don’t know if that modelling extends to the ‘free’ acceleration of the wheel. I can’t imagine that the wheels own weight has a negligible effect on the engines ability to spin it , at least in all the situations where it still has some amount of traction, so I would imagine that going for the lightest possible rim - to reduce the cars unsprung weight - is going to give the best results.
