Wheel spacers (Track width)

Hey everyone, does someone knows if there will be wheel spacers in FM? Having a good fitment like in Horizon brings so much to the look of a car, I really hope they add them, especially with a career based on customization !

From gameplay seen so far it seems like it’s not in for launch sadly, hopefully they will add it with an update.

Please add adjustable Track Width (wheel/tire offset) to cars, please. I’m quite surprised this hasn’t been added since FM7. FH4 and FH5 both have it and it would be a great welcomed addition to the Motorsport side of things.

I hope this thread explodes from next week. I can well imagine that it’s due to the new suspension physics, but idk…
At the latest when the Nordschleife is released, we need wheel offset, I don’t want to have to put Rocket Bunnys on my M3’s just to make the car look a bit more like a track tool…

Smaller wheel sizes as well. It’s a bit of a bummer not being able to put 18s or 17s on a lot of cars that have large oem wheels.

I remember when I was trying to play FM7 avidly and with most of the cars I love, they’re typically tuner cars (IE: Silvias, Mitsubishis, etc). When modifying my favorite cars, no matter what i do, the cars end up with horrible wheel fitment and look like complete poopoo. When Forza Horizon 5 came around, although as boring as it became, it at least produced an option where you can add wheel spacers to your favorite JDM cars. I ended up dropping FM7 for FH5 BASE SOLELY AND PURELY on the fact that FM7 had no option to fix wheel fitment or add spacers.

The new 2023 release of FM ABSOLUTELY NEEDS this feature in order to keep gearheads from walking away from the franchise. Forza will gladly put hotwheels cars in the game, but wont put in wheel spacers?

It of course can be mostly aesthetic, but it also does have it’s benefits performance-wise. If this feature is shoehorned in, I WILL BUY THE PREMIUM GOLD EDITION.

I hope Turn10 hears this, as I’m sure this is on a lot of minds. A lot of cars suffer that “tucked” look and end up looking like a dragster when you widen the wheels with such a narrow offset.

If physics were taken into account, cars would suffer from a ton of understeer when widening the tires without widening the stance. It’s akin to making a cars wheel base longer, making them less agile.

Given most, if not all of the car models used in FH5 are used across FM and vice-versa, it would be nice to translate the Track Width option from FH5 and integrate it into FM. It would work wonders for customization, honestly. Especially given there aren’t a lot of body kits in the game, even if a car had a stock body with a lowered, widened stance, it makes most cars look more intimidating and attractive imo.

Please, Turn10, I hope you hear this.

I agree with this completely. GT7 has an excellent implementation of wheel size reduction, tire stretch, and offset as well. All these options are more than welcome, and aren’t far-fetched ideas either, being more of a commonality IRL.

Hopefully Turn10 will surprise us in the near future.

“Track Width” I believe is the term used in FH games for their upgrade. It would work wonders for most cars, and it is a most welcome customization option that’s already integrated into the car models they use, since FH and FM share car models.

Please Turn10, add this as soon ad possible!

The new Forza Motorsport (2023) really needs the option to adjust the wheel offset.

Take the e46 m3 for example. It looks so hideous with those sunken in wheels. It’s absolutely impossible to make a car look good with bad fitment like that.

For me I really enjoy driving more if the car I’m driving looks good.

Really hope the option to add spacers or change the offset of the wheels will be added in the game.

This definitely needs to happen. Most car enthusiasts including myself look for the perfect wheel fitment IRL. Replicate it in the game, it’s a must.

The wheels desperately need to have an option for adjustable offset. Games like Midnight Club used to have this option so you could have staggered fitment. It seems like as we progress with newer games we get less and less options for customizing our cars to make them more personal and unique. Along with bodykits. The forza aero is horrendous.

I agree! Wildly disappointed when I saw that my cars were going to look ugly with horrible fitment. It’s 2023. Not having this option in a racing game is a head scratcher.

Please turn 10, I will GLADLY look past all the other faults of the game, the lack of cars and the removal of the cars that could’ve stayed in the game, the copy and pasting of cars from previous Forzas, and the lack of features that were in older games if you just add wheel spacers. Hand on heart.

EVEN THE MOST BUDGET OF INDIE RACING GAMES INCLUDE THE FEATURE. If you cant even include that in your triple A title, then i have to say that this game is not long to stay on my hard drive and I think i may ask for my refund

A game 6 years in the making, from a series that has had wheel spacers since at least 2019, does not have this now trivial piece of customization. Quite disappointing I would say.

i went to drift an s14 just to find i have wheels sunk in 6in and it looks HORRIBLE, i cant believe this isnt in game especially when i see a brz with a wide body kit and the wheels are sunk in 2 feet

I mean come on, how come this isn’t in the game, wide body kits are pointless when you got no fitment  also helps with handling. This and the clutch issue needs to be sorted ASAP

Not have wider track width on cars is a bummer since we had it in the previous games.

I would also like to see track width available. What’s bothering me atm though is I’ve fitted the widest tires on my GNX and the HRE wheels only have a 1” depth to them, same front to rear even though rears are inches wider. Looks very off. Definitely need some adjustments for the wheel offsets too.
