Hey guys,
so, we have over 30 tracks in the game but as i am pretty sure, we all have our favorites.
So, what are your go-to-tracks when you just want to do a couple of quick races and feel good about it?
Mine are, in no specific order:
Brands Hatch
Dubai
Laguna Seca
Le Mans Infield Circuit
Long Beach
Monza
Nurburgring
Road America
Road Atlanta
Sebring
Suzuka
This may seem like a lot, but i can asure you, i race almost nothing else.
My favourite tracks to race are:
Catalunya GP
Brands Hatch
Bathurst
Nurburgring GP
Nurburgring Nordschleife
Le Mans
Daytona ( 24hours track )
Tracks that are growing on me:
COTA
Homestead
VIR full and some of the versions that don’t require uturns in 1st gear.
Shout outs to:
Road America
Mugello
Maple Valley ( a classic )
Road Atlanta
Sebring
Road America for speed and Mugello for flow.
The last two can be trying if you get off line and require good balance between speed and grip or you’ll get walked on the straights.
It’s easier for me to make a full list, from my favourite to the worst:
Mugello
Catalunya
Watkins Glen
Yas Marina
Bugatti circuit
Brands Hatch
Lime Rock
Long Beach
Homestead
COTA
Nurb GP
Road Atlanta
Sebring
Silverstone
Monza
Road America
Spa
Suzuka
Bathurst
VIR
Top Gear
Road Atlanta it has everything. Elevation changes, long straights, tight turns, chicanes and long sweepers. What else could you ask for?
Most all the other tracks are great or good. Some I know better than others.
Not a fan of the Nordschleife. It is simply too big. A lot of turns to master and narrow not many places to pass. It takes a lot of time and dedication to learn that track.
VIR as well. I have not spent a lot of time on that track so I don’t know it that well. That one race in the rain and dark grey with the muscle cars was the worst.
1 Le Mans: 16 races/2941 km
2 Sebring: 28 races/2877 km
3 Road Atlanta: 77 races/2079 km
4 Road America: 9 races/2042 km
5 Monza: 18 races /1662 km
6 Bathurst: 12 races/1489 km
7 Spa: 6 races/1215 km
8 Mugello: 19 races/1197 km
9 Nordschleife+GP: 9 races/1145 km
10 Watkins Glen: 10 races/1004 km
I guess I race most on the two roads as i like to call them (America and Atlanta), and Prague (which I used to hate), and Sonoma (Dunno why people hate it), and perhaps a bit less often but still often on Laguna Seca.
EDIT: Oops forgot Maple Valley (Especially in the rain I love it)
Mostly I choose to run Spa, Atlanta, Lime Rock and The Glen. Lately, though, it seems both career and mulit-player are forcing me to run &#$! Sebring. I really had no idea there were so many Sebring ribbons until the last month or so.
Alps
Prague
Laguna Seca
Maple Valley
Dubai
Indianapolis (the road track layout without the annoying interruption in the final stretch)
Sebring
Nurburgring full when I’m in the mood for a long drive
I ran Silverstone in the rain a lot in 6, but the rain is no longer interesting in 7.
The tracks that I race the most ( My Favorites ) in order would be-
Watkins Glen Full - This is hands down my favorite track and probably always will be. I can run hours of laps there and never get tired.
2 .Daytona 24 hrs sport car circuit - very close and nearly tied with The Glen
I’m finding in Forza 7 that I’ve a greater affection for certain tracks that I really didn’t enjoy all that much in previous titles. The biggest example of this for me is Prague which I’ve really started to like (particularly the shorter configurations). As it is though here’s a list of my top 10.
Nurburgring Nordschleife.
Laguna Seca
Spa Francorchamps
Road Atlanta
Watkins Glen
Prague
Circuit of the Americas
Lime Rock
Suzuka
Mugello
If Tsukuba was still in the game then it would be my number 3.
