There was xbox live issues earlier affecting forza…there’s 3 or 4 other threads about it
That might have been your problem
Or if you are still having issues maybe try hard resetting your console properly

I had same problem. I deleted game reinstalled and now is all good again. I only deleted game and not progress or car packs.
Mine was doing the same thing last night… Just did a power cycle and its running fine again
