Hi,
I first want to start by saying that I’ve been searching the Internet for something related to my issue but I couldn’t find anyone having this issue I’m having.
The issue I’m referring to occurs whenever I’m trying to start a Seasonal Street Race Championship or a regular Street Race.
The error in details:
- first the loading phase of the race takes longer than usual
- whenever the splash screen gets me into the main screen of the race (when you can select the difficulty, start the race, etc.) I can notice that the textures are really bright and with no shadows, the road is barely visible
- if I press the start race button the race is about the start but the GO! message doesn’t appear and everything get’s frozen, even the drive avatars are frozen, the only thing I can do is move the camera around also the sound seems to work properly
- I’ve waited to see if anything changes and after 2 minutes the GO! message is displayed and everything is responsive but the graphic issues are still there, the texture are too bright and I can’t see the road (please see the image below, uploaded on flickr)
- I’ve also tried to advance in the race thinking that it might dissapear and it did, after 55% of the race the texture started shifting but they are not as they supposed to be, the reflexions look too bright.
- After 80% of the race it seems to be fully fixed and everything gets back to normal
What I belive is the issue is the fact that when I start the race is Day time and the races I’m doing are on Night time and somehow the transition is not fully adjusted/loaded.
PC Specs and what I tried:
- fx6300 @ 4.1 GHz
- GTX 1060 3GB
- 12 GB DDR3 @ 1600 MHz
- Latest updates on Windows 10 x64
- Latest Nvidia Drivers
I’ve also tried changing the ingame settings by lowering the settings and nothing changed.
