So I feel like I’ve been playing this game about to the same extent as I have every other Forza game in the past yet I find I’m having trouble acquiring cash more in this game than other Forza games.
Maybe things have been nerfed a bit cause honestly just from rewards alone I have nearly 30 million for FH2 and FM6 but with this game i’m still under 10 million for both rewards and in-game earnings.
I’ve also stopped playing online for FH3 since it’s always just anything-goes races with X999 noobs and I’ve just had it. I like fast cars but I also like racing D-Class through A-Class too and I just never get to do that online these days. Hopefully racing online isn’t a good solution because I just don’t enjoy that very much.
I haven’t really seen an increase in the cash I earn as I play through this game and the Forza VIP Bonus definitely is not worth it in this game compared to what it used to reward me in previous games. So I’m just interested in any recommendations to earn some good in-game cash that I may be overlooking.
I feel I’m certainly missing out on some good cars cause I can’t get the money together.
Well, sorry to break it to you but, I made all my money in FH3 of wheelspins and the auction house. However, I like to do Goliath in Byron Bay Online with a few of my friends. Even if you don’t win, you get a lot of in game money. And yes, it takes forever to do the race, but at the end of the day your making a ton of money.
Today, for example, me and a friend of mine did 5 laps on that race. We were both driving X-Class cars and we are very good drivers and it took us just over a hour. We made on the rounds of 350,000CR and about 250,000XP and then ended up getting a horizon edition car and selling it for 500,000CR and also I got about 300,000CR from the wheelspins.
That’s 1,150,000CR, I’m pretty sure you can get some nice cars with that much money. Then just for fun, we took D-Class cars… 25 Minutes… A Lap… But, it was all for fun.
I don’t play online much either and when I do it’s usually with club members or for a specific Forzathon.
I do 12 laps a week on Goliath in an S1 HE car (broken up to four laps every other day or so). This puts me into at the top of the club ladder which is a bonus of 400,000 cr plus I get the Turn 10 weekly credit of 500,000cr. With wheel spins etc plus other minor races I’m collecting 3 to 4 million plus a week.
I also hang around the auction house buying two very popular cars at bargain prices. Then selling them minutes later after a quick upgrade for 50% or more than I bought them for. I also do not tune or paint so my max buyout price is limited sometimes.
Yesterday I bought 6 of one specific car plus 2 of another (Sorry not giving away my choices). Total cost 4.5 million. Sold them all for a total of 9 million. Less the auction costs, I made in excess of 4 million within barely two hours of effort with no racing.
My weekly credit for this week so far is a little less than 10 million and I’m probably putting in less than 12 hours in FH3 a week.
In previous games it was way too easy to get credits so much so that within the first month or so you would have too much credits to know what to do with
Im happy it’s this way otherwise it would be too easy to own every car and then have nothing to spend all those millions of credits on as happened to most in forza 6 and horizon 2
I do not have as much time in my week to get some good Forza time in, but I will say, I found that goliath will get you a lot of money and XP. With a few of my friends, we did 3 laps with credit booster horizon edition cars and got 300,000 credits and 120,000 XP. That’s pretty good for 30 minutes, today I played for 8 hours (on a Saturday) and made over 3,000,000 credits.
Forza Hub Rewards (weekly)
Drivatar Rewards (daily)
Play the game and race
Play the game and race using a credits boost car
Join a club and play the game enough to earn 1.5 million XP (weekly)
Don’t buy wheelspins
Most of it you probably already know (Goliath with perks, credits boost car etc), but one thing from the video I didn’t know was that you get a lineup credit bonus if all the other drivers are in the same HE car as you.
