Voting list - missing cars from FH3/FH4 to return in FH5 [Update 2024/10/12: -7 cars]

Time for another long overdue update

I’ve removed from the list 7 cars that were added to Forza Horizon 5 since February:

  • 2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Coupe - reached 165 votes before closing it’s topic
  • 1986 BMW M635 CSi - 180 votes
  • 1975 Citroen DS 23 - 130 votes
  • 1968 Lancia Fulvia Coupe Rallye 1.6 HF - 187 votes
  • 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 - 302 votes
  • 1996 Subaru SVX - 372 votes
  • 1966 Volkswagen Double Cab Pick-Up - 40+ votes (?)

I think only 7 recycled cars added to the game in 8 months (excluding some models returning from Forza Motorsport 4… one day I will update that other list too  ) is very good result, as it means we were getting mostly #NewToForza cars in updates. Well done, PG!

Other notable changes on the list:

  • The 1995 Ford SVT Cobra R was the second most upvoted car back in the February but now it has only 64 votes. That’s because it’s thread was closed when PG added the 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra to the game (in Series 32 in March) and then a new thread for the 4th generation Ford Mustang was opened.
  • The 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 jumped ahead of the 2012 Shelby 1000.
  • The 1990 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z overtook the 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE.
  • The 2011 Lotus Evora S fell behind the 2058 Quadra Turbo-R, the 2014 Chevrolet Super Sport (which gained five positions), and the 2004 Vauxhall VX220 Turbo.
  • The 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio climbed more than 15 places up (109 → 169 votes).
  • The same happened with the 1972 Mazda Cosmo 110S Series II (74 → 122 votes)…
  • …and with the 1967 Volvo 123GT (73 → 128 votes)…
  • …and with the 1979 Triumph TR7 (36 → 68 votes)…
  • …and with the 2009 Vauxhall Corsa VXR (30 → 65 votes)…
  • …and with the 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster (27 → 55 votes).
  • The 1984 Rover SD1 Vitesse is even 30+ places higher than where it was previously (70 → 146 votes).
  • The same goes for the 2010 Vauxhall Insignia VXR (68 → 135 votes). Now it has thread renamed from “Vauxhall Insignia 2008-2013” to “Opel / Vauxhall / Holden Insignia 2008-2017 (Buick Regal, Chevrolet Vectra)”
  • Several vintage sports/race cars have even less votes than before, because their original threads were converted for Forza Motorsport and then new threads were created for them in the Forza Horizon category. Affected cars: 1934 Alfa Romeo P3, 1948 Ferrari 166MM Barchetta, 1956 Lotus Eleven, 1957 Maserati 300 S, 1961 Maserati Tipo 61.
