Every Forza should have its Ligthning McQueen. I think this might be the first for FH2. I tried to be as accurate as I could with my n00bish knowledge of the livery tool
So here it is in the form of a Viper GTS (from stock, no tuning).
If you like it, just search for “Lightning McQueen” and you should find it. If you want it on another car, just ask, i will do it if I can (don’t ask for a P1 yet, I don’t have the CR to buy it )
Notes : I’m a bit disappointed about the low definition for the sponsors vinyls. Unfortunately it seems that there’s nothing to do to make it look better
Also, too bad that we can’t paint the tires. Adding “Lightyear” on tires would have been cool…
I’m really just starting to get used to the tool and spent a lot of time making things and then deleting it to do it again in a better way. I guess that’s part of the learning curve
I wasn’t expecting a comment from such a great artist as you. I don’t have 1% of your talent. This thread is encouraging me to work harder, which is bad because I also want to play the game
Thanks a lot
PS : don’t look too close at the numbers. I had a really hard time with the 9 rouded left part and the shaded red, it’s far from being perfect…
What is the Livery thing that you speak of? I am new to the Horizon game. I was also trying to do a Lightning McQueen but am having a very difficult time trying to create one with the vinyls.
May be I’m not using the correct word about “livery” (I’m not english native speaker). For me the “livery” tool is in fact the part where you see you car, you can place the vinyls on it but you can also paint directly on your car. Depending on what you want to achieve, you can use the vinyls tool to create just one element and then paste it onto your car (usefull when it’s a small element), or you can use the “livery” tool to paint directly onto your car (usefull for large elements). For this McQueen I only used the vinyls too, then placed it on the car, I just painted the rear bumper directly on the car.
