VIP advertised as 2x race credits? (But I'm only getting 1x)

Hi folks,

I just bought VIP so that I can get 2x credit bonus (to help reduce the grind for credits to purchase cars)
However, I am only getting 1x credits for VIP after each race.

Example:
600k base race earnings

  • 600k VIP
  • 600k for FE Car/Track
  • 1.2m for mods (200%)

600k VIP is 1x base credit by my calc. Am I wrong?
Most unhappy, as would not have paid £16.74 for 1 x (100%)
Anyone having this issue or can offer any help please?

You get 1 x base earnings and 1 time the same amount vip, so 200%

The official wording:

This means you will receive double the race credits. So you you posted is correct and working as intended.

600k base CR x2 = 1.2m CR which is what you received (not including your FE car & mod bonuses).

Thank you all for the prompt replies, I understand what you are saying, but I feel cheated by the way in which the offer is worded “ENJOY A 2x BASE CREDIT BONUS”, There are Earnings and a Bonus, the Bonus is 1x (sure, total credits awarded are 2x, but the BONUS is only 1x, I am not enjoying a 2x BONUS)

EARNINGS +5,600 CR
VIP BONUS +5,600 CR

I’m sensing its not a popular interpretation, but I see it as 5,600 CR EARNINGS, and 5,600 CR VIP BONUS, the BONUS awarded is therefore only 1x
It’s just me thinking like this?

1 x 600k = 600k (no VIP) 0% base
2 x 600k = 1200k (VIP) 100% base
3x 600k = 1800k (???) 200% base

All it is saying is you earn double the base credits. It is not saying you earn an additional 2x base credits, rather 2x base credits overall.

It’s basic multiplication, 2*1=2, 1 being the base credits, 2 being the VIP. There’s nothing wrong with the wording, there’s no one cheating you on this.
