Hey guys when I try and load Vinyl groups from FM6 to H3 it says I need to delete files that I have too many saves of this type. I have a whopping total of 0 vinyl groups saved in H3. I’ve even gone back to fm6 to delete some and that still didn’t fix it. It won’t allow me to import them. I can view but not import. Any ideas as to what I’m doing wrong?
Literally the same exact thing is happening to me. This is what I posted in the support section of the forum:
When trying to import vinyls from FH2, FM5 and FM6… I keep getting a message saying: “Too many saves of this file type. Please delete some from the file manger before saving any more.” It gives me the option to press A to import them, but after I do that, it gives the, “Too many saves” message. I can’t import a single one of my vinyls that I’ve made…from any one of those three above mentioned games. I no longer own FH2, FM5 or FM6, so going back and deleting the various vinyl groups that I’m trying to import from those games, isn’t a possibility. Even if you had to do that, that doesn’t make a bit of sense… and would be absolutely stupid. The only vinyls that I really am concerned about importing onto this game, are all the ones I made in FH2, which are…I don’t even know how many of them there are. I no longer own the game, so if in fact you actually do have to go back onto these older games, I wouldn’t even be able to do that.
Sometimes, when I am RB’ing between FM6 files and FH2 files, it will mix the files up between the two games. Often it will put my FH2 files into the FM6 files tab and, other times it will put my FM6 files into the FM6 tab. Another issue that I am having is, when RB’ing between tabs in the vinyl group menu, it will sometimes want to give me the option to press A to “select” a vinyl, and other times, it will give me the option to press A to, “import” a vinyl (which then prompts it to give me the, “Too many saves” nonsense.). Neither does anything at all, nothing whatsoever.
