VERY LIMITED space for saving tunes?

Is it normal to have run out of space for saving tunes shortly after i got the game? I love to build cars but i cant even save one tune per car as it tells me i need to delete tunes in order to save more. I have never had this happen in other forzas and wonder why i have run out of space on xbox one which has loads of free space??? please help

There is a limit of 300 tunes. I don’t think there has been an explanation as to why.

you dont have to save the tune. you can apply a tune to a car and it’ll remain on the car without taking up a save slot. you have probably saved multiple tunes for some cars. hopefully save slots get increased with an update or something. in fm4 you cant even own every car including dlc because there are more cars than car slots. the problem is not local storage, its cloud storage. microsoft wants all backups in the cloud to prevent piracy, but they seem to be punishing the paying customers for the pirates.

I like multiple tunes per car as i do drags, drift, and multiple classes in racing so do i have to buy 7 of each car thats so silly. Nothing about this new gen gaming seems to be as good as it should be, its slower and is not as user friendly either.

If you have hit the cap then you either need to delete tunes or buy multiple cars or pray that there will be an increased number of slots. I have stopped praying and own around 14 Lotus E21s given I want a tune for at least each location if not more where the variants differ from the main track.

I hit the cap after one month lol… They had it all sorted in forza 4 now its half the game it once was but with better graphics and better controller.

really sat? 14? and i thought i was bad with 5 to cover different track types. i can run road america, spa and lemans with the same tune, and other tunes i can use for more than 1 track. that little gocart “school” track i have given up on since its a wreck fest anyway.

Yep. I know it sounds like overkill but I am only 1 short of 1 per location with a variant tune and different paint on each. Some tunes are very similar but I have tweaked as I have gone for each location.

I needed something to spend my credits on including the new credits I make hotlapping in X lol
