I am looking for a velociraptor 6x6 for my freind his Xbox gamer tag is overquotient454 text him if you can find one he really wants one every since I bought mine
They are a winnable item right now in the Forzathon weekly challenges.
He’s not good at that race he wants one bad
I wish they had some type of temp account share thing, I’d race it for him.
I’ll have to look up what I used and can give the tune if he wants to try again until he can find one for sale. That way he at least has multiple options. Obviously, we are all at different levels, so one person saying “but that race is easy” does no good for the person that finds it difficult. But I tend to race at pro and took it pretty well. That last track can be a real bother for some people though.
Your so nice I’m going to add you on Xbox my gamer tag is tntcobra2384 thanks for offering!
By the way he would love to have the tune he has been auction sniping for one and he finds one and then he buys it and it say auction closed please try later
K, just ran it three times in three different vehicles and won each one at Pro. Again, not to say it is easy, just saying they are capable vehicles/tunes. Hopefully one of them is to his liking.
2016 Jeep Trailcat - Tune: 228 168 177 “Tweaked Cat”
1993 Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck - Tune: 393 150 401 “Barn Burner”
2013 Mini X-Raid All4 Racing Countryman - Tune: 182 485 923 “CC Winter Trial”
Breakdown: the Trailcat is the most stable of the the three. It has a good wide stance, easy to drive, and decent speed. The T100 is the fastest, holds a good slide, and is decent off the line. The Mini is the quickest off the line but doesn’t have the high end, and is also a bit twitchy especially on the second track with running wide open but with bumpy ground.
The first track is tricky with all the obstacles. It’s easy to catch the corner of a building or wall as you switch through left and right turns. Use the rewind option, it is there. If you approach a turn too shallow so you over shoot the exit, back up and line it up again. It does help. It is also ok to slow down as you approach sharp turns. It takes less time to slow down and take it right than it does to slide into the obstacle and rub against it until you gain your line back. It’s also a tight course, so it is easier to keep the AI behind you if you sit right in the middle of the lane as you do.
The second track is open terrain. This is what CC is about in my opinion. Make sure you line up on the jumps squarely, an off landing will take more time off of you than slowing a little to get it right. Also try not to be right behind another vehicle on the jump as colliding with them in air or as you land can throw you off. There is plenty of room to pass, and be passed, so ya gotta run it flat out when you can.
The last track is also tricky. The first sweeping right turn, the AI tends to take it wide left so you can gain some places on the inside, just don’t cut it too much or you are into obstacles, fences, the tree, etc. If you go through the walls/fences directly behind other vehicles, you don’t get slowed down by the obstacles. Line up the big jump squarely so you land well, again, use rewind if you need to. The last three gates are a sweeping right hand turn, the AI again tends to favor wide left, so cut in along the right side and pick up some ground.
Ok, so I know this is a “I want to buy X” section of the forum and comments like this are normally under the “Discussion” thread, so I hope I’m not out of place here. By the way, that is a good place to check if you are ever having difficulty on a track, need a tune, etc. Good luck.
