Can we please have some variation in the monthly class playlist we have to do every month? Different weather, different time of day? It seems like every week’s slog is the same exact playlist with a different car locked behind the 3 races per class.
Edit: The Open Class Tour.

Yeah they should just randomize it, but so that the weather doesn’t change while in the race. So if it’s sunny it won’t start raining in the middle of the race and vice versa. Because I don’t think anyone wants to change their tyres in these short races, it would only be annoying.
They could also randomize the time of day.

It’s extremely boring and repetitive.

I’ve wondered where all the rain has gone? When the game launched there was a nice variation on weather. In the last month or so I have seen literally zero (0) rain races and I’ve raced in multiplayer pretty much daily. What happened?

It rains a lot in these Drift Meetups and Trackdays. If you want rain, you should try that out.

Can we just have the multiplayer options of the old Forza Motosport 7?
Zero interest. Tired of doing the same thing every month. Waste of time.
Drift Meetups and Trackdays aren’t even a month old, so how?
Not into drifting or people driving backwards. What if I said give me my Ghost lobbies and leagues back? Interested? Plenty would be. We had full lobbies. Now we could have it with no relentless track cutting. Especially early in previous Forza games release. This has nothing to do with the same monotonous thing repeated over and over like it’s Horizon. Who asked for that?
How about 10 ghost races to get the car too? One lobby just one rotating lobby is all I ask. No one comes remove it but they will come. We just want to relax and not worry about anything.

I also liked the ghost races in FM7.
Especially the ghost factory cars races, where everyone had the same car with the same tuning.

Rian is good for some funky weird role playing game. Leave it out of a racing game as far as I’m concerned. Sure there are some races that run in the rain. I’ll pass.
Yes Nurburgring track day in rain was fun. That weather in a 20 minute ABCS race would be great. Tuning on track day was a bit difficult though since no auto drive and view kept changing with setup manager every time. I’m surprised no more comments about that meetup issue here.
Weather is meaningless in this game. It’s just an aesthetic that adds nothing

What is wrong about better looking weather conditions?
It’s not about how it looks. It’s the fact that the only thing that happens when it rains in this game, other than a visual change, is that the overall grip is slightly reduced. That’s it. There’s no complexity to it, there’s no planning a race strategy around what the weather might do, there are no cases of it raining in one portion of the track but being dry elsewhere, there’s no drying line once it stops raining, there’s no need to avoid the rubbered-in line and hunt for grip elsewhere when the track is wet. It all basically just amounts to a visual switch being flipped on or off.

Peoples hated it so they wanted it to go
Well it’s not a real racing simulation and iirc the majority of ppl hated the water puddles in FM7, I liked them. But yes you are right, but I simply learned to live with it. I prefer having some clouds or rain or fog, than boring super clean sunny weather.
Is any of that better in Gran Turismo 7? Is that a real racing simulation with all this?
Was it any better in FM 1-6? If not why expect it now?
I can barely remember FM6 Apex, I never played the full version of it on Xbox and I never played FM 1-5, because I stopped playing on consoles 20 years ago, so I can’t tell how it was. But I don’t expect the 8th game to suddenly be completely different than FM7. I don’t think they will ever simulate real weather conditions. Simply because it’s not a real racing simulation.

But… why? Variation is good, whether it’s weather, cars, tracks, lobbies, race lenghts etc…
I want FM6 puddles of doom back.
I don’t know the whole reason, but i remember have seen peoples running race tyres complain about that sometimes the rain started at turn 1, so if they knew, they will chose rain tyres, or it rain at practice (and before the race start when you select fuel/tyres) and the rain stop just at the start and they’re already on rain tyres so have to pit lap 2

Yeah I wish they would do this on tracks like spa it happening a lot during racing there it’s wet the first half and hammering of down at the top end of the track,
