My apologies if this is out there somewhere already. I searched for it and nothing came up so here we are.

I’m not talking about the stupid system where certain people get to sell their cars for more, that is a rant I’ll not go into here other than to say that a ‘Livery Shop’ where liveries are purchased with credits by other players would be a wise decision.

What I am wondering about is actual variable prices. I purchase two of the exact same model. Apply my own livery to each. Apply my own tune to each. When I set them for auction, one has max buyout of 622,000 and one has max buyout of 649,000. What is the difference?

When you applied the tune, is it possible that one of the cars had more parts purchased for it? I suspect that’s the reason for the max price difference.

That is absolutely possible, I’m not sure. So having purchased more upgrades will change the price options for your vehicle? Interesting. Thanks for the info.

Additional purchased parts increase the total value of the car and the maximum auction price is based on that value.

Although I don’t think it’s worth upgrading a car to attempt to profit from the upgrade.
