im wondering if the relased version of the game is going to support using different pedals and wheel, for example i have the Fanatec CSL Elite wheel but i still use my G27 pedals (i still have my G27 wheel and Fanatec pedals) just wanna know if the game is going to get the support for it since u can do it on any recent racing game and i couldnt when i tried the demo, and if theres a way and im doing it worng let me know.
You can now in the custom wheel config. My problem was it forces you to map some stupid required buttons. It won’t take keyboard keys. The config won’t save until you find those keys. With a direct drive wheel, that may not be possible. I had no issue binding my dd for steering and fanatec pedals. Just could not save and use.
I have a Fanatec CSW 2.5 wheel and HE pro pedals (Heusinkveld).
There is an issue. The pedals are reconized but it only accelerate a little bit (around 30mph).
I tried many setting but nothing change (tried 0 min and 20 max sensitivity or 80 min and 100 max and other settings).
I had the same issue for FH3 but with the sentitivity (something like 17-35) it was working.
My pedals are correctly set in windows system and work as expected in all my other games. (iRacing, Assetto Corso, Project Cars, Forza 7)
Hopefully it will be fixed for the release, if I can download the game. MStore hasn’t be fixed since FH3. It is still a nightmare to download the game. The download was reseted at… 60go…
i was able to bind the pedals after all (shifter was in 4th gear and i didnt realise it so it didnt let me bind it ) but the fanatec wheel has little to no FFB
I am also trying to run Heusinkveld HE pro pedals . Accelerator only goes from 6.25% to 42.5%. Brake also doesn’t go beyond 36%. Forza games are UWP apps on windows. They only read raw values from HE Pedals. I have tried changing range/dead zones in game, in DIView. But nothing works. I have already bought the game. Hopefully dead zones work in full release. Any support from Devs would be really appreciated.
