Upgrade parts and tuning

Hey guys, will there be some kind of update in the future so that we can make our builds?

One of my favorite things to do back on forza 3 was take a slow car and beef it up to be fast. Is that possible in forza 6 apex. I am talking performance parts for your cars. I would love to pimp out the mustang boss.

I was wondering this myself too, i know Apex is a slimmed-down version of the original Xbox Forza. But is it possible to buy a new turbo, suspension etc. stuff like that? Anyone?

Not at the moment, you can tune the cars but you can’t upgrade them or change parts.

this is something we must have
without it its not forza and you might just as well go play p.c.a.r.s or Asseto corsa

so is that what this is, a slimmed down version of forza. Is that gonna be that way forever or will it become more like the full game once it has been out for awhile. If there isn’t car upgrades I am out without a doubt. If it turns out to be a slimmed down version I don’t think I will be into it much. I mean why. The pc has so much more horsepower and just all around more resources. Why give us a dumbed down version of the game. I won’t even be investing more time into the game until I know it will support this and eventually become more like a full fledged forza game. I am actually uninstalling right now for this very reason. I will check back in a few months and see if anything has changed. I would be willing to drop 60 bucks on a full fledged forza game on pc if it carried the upgrades but also all the other forza feature. Sorry but this is turning out to look like a waist of time for me.

Well, it is a freebie. You might have to wait for Forza 7 for a full game. I guess Apex is more of a showpiece to show what can be done with dx12 and the future Xbox-PC crossover software.

Don’t you mean Horizon 3? 6 was just released, why wouldn’t they release a Horizon game on PC next instead of 7? It has been over 2 years since the last Horizon, so I would say we are most likely to see our first full fledged Forza in the form of a new Horizon than another Motorsports game.

Apex has always been meant as a showcase of the possibilities of Forza tech on W10 and DX12. They have made annoucements that there will be showcases released as time goes on and they will make certain enhancements. They will also at some point move out of beta to ‘full’ status but it will most likely always be missing some of the features we are used to.

Horizon 3 and Forza 7 will be what we have come to expect as a ‘real’ Forza game. Apex is just a sidenote, it is free, take it in that vein and enjoy what is in it without judging the franchise as a whole just yet.

Hello all

I’ve been a Forza fan for many years, and very ecstatic to see where this game has gone these after 11 long years of Forza!
My question is this but first but already know what you all are going to tell me that it’s just a beta and things have to make the
transition to improving, but very curious about the game’s car customization ability, in the future will we all have the power to
upgrade our cars just like in any other Forza games? I’m very sorry I know this is very soon to ask but I just wanted to throw that out there
because I don’t know who knows one of the devs may actually glance at my thread and comment.

Thanks in advance to all of you guys in the official Forza social community.

I don’t think so. I think the beta is more or less the full experience, and what will come in the future is purchasable content in the form new tracks and events.

I don’t think we will get it before the next Forza release in September. What I’m hoping for is that they use Apex as a platform rather than a one off game to introduce the series to the PC market, Adding content to the Apex platform over time, building a large catalog of tracks and vehicles not requiring biyearly AAA production. But I don’t think they will if they intend to make and release another Iteration of the Motorsport franchise to PC after this years FH3 release on the PC platform.

You know what guys, that does make sense… but you know my theory could be surrounded by this aspect, Turn 10 & Microsoft can utilize Apex as more of a stepping stone
for the Forza franchise over on to the PC side of town. But I am curious to see what happens next with the beta. And thanks for your response guys I haven’t looked at
the situation the same way as I did before I’ve posted this thread. Now i pretty much see what’s going to happen.
