Update 4.0 released today so I’m already thinking on next update as a Forza player since the first I can’t give up now. I was wondering if they will correct graphics on next update, like improve the ray tracing in general, improve car models, improve car sounds or just simply add a new camera while changing rims or choosing a new design for the car I wish they implement that it would be a lot better for the player have a complete experience to what is going on. Do you guys think it’s possible for them to add puddles on tracks in a real way?
I just want replays and stability. Sod all the other features and tracks, just make the game playable for long durations without fear of crashing.
It seems like its makers gave up on it a long time ago.
Add R P X Class to Builder’s Cup and Endurance Races.
It would be nice if the paint shop functioned properly. With functional lighting that didn’t cast unworkable reflections off the car bodies making it nearly impossible to work on vinyls.
And all the colors worked properly. Vinyls not turning into matte finish applied over different subsurface finishes.
I’m sure there are other areas of the paint shop which others can add to this list. In my opinion the paint shop is on of the worst areas in the game. But then it’s one of my most important areas.
I don’t think graphics improvements are high on their list of priorities. There’s a lot of stability stuff they gotta deliver for PC first as well as the 3 major issues they published recently. It’d be weird and probably annoy people even more of they did graphics tweaks instead of this stuff.
Same with puddles. That’s a whole bunch of physics along with implementation to every track.
But we’ll probably get another “new”/old track, some more cars and some more bug fixes. Maybe CarPG reductions?
And ban open wheel from them or it will be just 2 cars for P and X
There will always be a fastest car.
For Update 5 I hope to see fixes for the follwing:
Livery Editor

- Saved Vinyl Groups screen not displaying thumbnails for files

Ban open wheel cars from P Class Lobbies.
I don’t expect Update 5 to bring in any substantial fixes or additions/changes.
Carxp which is such an easy task to reduce the grind will probably not see adjustments before Update 6.
We will get another held back track alongside held back cars to fuel the GAAS model.
I would appreciate some small things though.
Like a displayed engine graph in the tuning menu. An absolute basic feature that’s missing for whatever reason.
Can’t imagine we’ll see carxp altered to around update 9/10.
@KTR0N_0001 , I agree the physics, handling ad and tire modeling of the game should be a priority along with the CarpG garbage (which will never go away until the version of the game is that even happens) which needs to just go away. It’s just that the paint shop is dear to my heart. The tune up shop would be second priority on my personal list.
But the realistic list is;
-
Bugs and glitches in the game should get foremost and weekly at the very least updates. The one’s relative to game performance. The one’s related to car graphics and such can wait. Get the game working properly first.
-
Address the poor handling issues (understeering) (wobbly bouncing stock setups).
-
Physics, handling and tire model. Update tire modeling to reflect better modern world tire selections. There’s probably 20 small market racetracks within the vicinity of the Seattle area. Visit them and get in some track time. Learn what real race cars feel like and bring some of that feeling into the game.
-
Address the bugs and glitches affecting the car and track graphics. Now that the game is working properly attention can be turned towards these issues.
-
Fix the lighting problem in the paint booth. Fix the uhs and glitches with the vinyls and the various subsurface colors which cause a vinyl to go to a matte finish when it should be glossy. Fix the side to side alignment. Also the side to side alignment is not properly aligned on the tops of some cars.
Do a bulk add of all the missing tracks from FM7. Then start adding in new tracks according to the people’s vote for the new monthly tracks.
That label is, at least as of the time that car was modeled, just the official emblem for IMSA’s Endurance sub-championship. It used to encompass the four endurance events that were longer than 2 hours, but that is expanding to five events with Indianapolis this year.
It’s best not to make that assumption. That decal is on the real car…
Sorry for the blurry image. But you can see it’s there.

There are no tea leaves to read about an upcoming track.
Indianapolis is already in game, but this 4 other tracks are not ( before update 4.0), and if you go to IMSA’s race calendar, first race is at daytona, second is sebring.
I was just guessing. But you right, maybe i will be surprised…
That’s my point. It’s just a logo, not an Easter Egg or a tea leaf to read.
EDIT: And Watkins Glen is in-game already, too (Sahlen’s Six Hours at the Glen) - it was in at launch.
- Watkins Glen is also on that decal.
