I am trying to get the achievement for the Up To The Challenge. According to the rewards this achievement is for running a field of 24 cars and finishing first with suggested line off and the cockpit only mod. I have tried this numerous times but to no avail I still have not got this achievement even though I have won the races with 24 cars with suggested line off and cockpit only. I have been trying to get this in Free Play like I have with the other achievement. Does anyone else have this issue or am I not doing something right?
Just to clarify - you’ve won the race with a field of 24 cars while you have the specific Dare mod attached, right? Using a different Mod or changing the difficulty settings manually won’t unlock the achievement.
I figured it out last late last night. Originally, I was trying to get the achievement by having the suggested line off in the assisted and using the cockpit only mod but even with winning the races I was not getting the achievement. I took a closer look at some of the mods that I had and found that there is a mod called “Total Immersion Dare”, this dare turns off the suggested line and forces the cockpit cam. I ended up running this mod and after winning my first race with it the achievement unlocked. It would have been nice if the description for the achievement would have been just a little bit clearer LOL.
