Unproductive Players In Horizon Arcade

What has to do super wheelspins with horizon arcade at all??? ZZZZZZZZZ. Please, guys, stop playing, really.

George, I was just responding to a suggestion to add them to Arcade. Do not be so petty as to tell people to stop playing just because you don’t like a few comments on a forum.

No, but its a clear fact that people who dont enjoy the game are blaming everything, specially the supossed “nerf” of wheelspins to keep moaking around. And its getting ridiculous at this point. Stop including wheelspins on everything… you are already getting 60 FP finishing an arcade. You can buy a wheelspin from the shop for no much more (i think 100 or 120?). But yeah, people need to grind a little more for them… what a problem.

So adding wheelspins as well to the arcade would make zero sense.

The problem of the arcade is a terribly bad design. Hell they popup even on your house or festivals, what the h3ck are you going to do if that happens? you know if someone is trying to do an arcade there, you are going to ruin it, but you cant do anything about it. Thats the problem.

And no, there is no “quit” option, anywhere.

Eh? - sorry but if you’re in one by accident, drive out of the circle, or go Horizon Solo for a bit.
If the event has already started hit the menu (3 bars) button and there’s a big Quit Event button on the right of the map icon…
Get your facts right George.

It’s gotten to the point that George will be the first person blocked on this forum. I can handle intelligent, honest, mature debate about things. None of which I’ve seen from him.

It would be great if people weren’t automatically entered in an Arcade just because they happen to be in the starting arena. But you are right that it is easy enough to quit the Arcade.

George is George - you just have ignore it and move on.
On another recent thread my thoughts were :-

Ignore George - He just likes to Diss all other players for no reason - even though he didn’t even pay for the game - yet think’s he’s superior to everybody else because they spent hard earned cash on it and he didn’t.
I’ve never seen one actual post of his on Any thread that does anything helpful but instead just states that we’re all idiots for believing that the game shouldn’t be as broken as it is - even though he also often says how broken it is.

Ture that, this game is in trouble if they don’t come out with some content very soon. I have a feeling this stunt park thing is going to be rehashed old garbage, again. And even if the stunt park is cool it will probably only be for the season then vanish.

Yeah, the first expansion should be at least announced soon which may liven up the game again.

Really sad that we’re not even 6 months into this game and it’s already dying a painful death.

It pretty much died for me after the first month. Sadly still playing though - OCD won’t _OFF

Yeah, I’ve seen that too. Someone just sitting there. Doesn’t bother me that much as I can get easy points at will from some of the car mastery trees.

Arcade is just amusing fooling around without any real benefits as outcomes. There’s rarely more than 2 participants. FH4 used to have lots.

I also wouldn’t want to burn through points and just get 4 grand for a wheelspin.

Is there anything that can be done about the Freeloaders that join an Arcade event and then make me score their points as well while they watch??? I already work two jobs… I do not need to work a third while trying to enjoy racing.

They made it so easy it doesn’t rly matter… Was thinking the 2 other ppl are going for “free” fp points and watch me doing the stuff.
Completed the round and noticed these ppl switched to driftcar and helped in last round… So yeah it took them more time to switch cars for nothing…

Only the Speed one with “Stay over xxx km/h to get points” is hard to complete alone if more ppl are in and maybe the mini missions (not done “alone” these)

It’s regular. Doesn’t bother me too much but sometimes, if the freeloader is in a position to see me I’ll stop before completing a task. On more than one occasion that’s had the effect of prodding the other one. Works with trailblazers, for example.

But, yeah, it’s easy so not a big deal. I’ve got about 7k and now AFK skill point things are nerfed drift-run Arcades are more useful again to build up some skill points as well as Forza points.

Perhaps some mechanism involving percentage contribution or minimal input might be considered - but let’s face it, nothing’s going to change, it’s working well enough.

I only do drift arcades and come across freeloaders from time to time, though it usually takes me till round 3 to notice…I usually just stop when I notice them and wait to see what they will do…sometimes they realise that round 3 won’t complete so they start doing it.

The game can easily check if you are scoring points, or not, it can be fixed, but will they?

I recently freeloaded, but for a reason. I needed certain arcade acolades and this was the quickest way to get them. I did say sorry to other players. E.g needing stars from drift zones trail blazers and speed zones/ traps etc.

I had to just join what ever arcade event was closest to the short zones.

As much as I want to punish freeloaders, it’s way better in this game than it was in 4. Mind you that’s probably because the servers don’t work and I’m at most match made with 2 randoms, but usually none.

If you’re on your own, 1 player driving through doubles your reqs. While better than when fh5 started it’s a pretty messed up thing to do. I just quit the event and catch the next, or switch games.

I have on occasion drove by or one was over the house and it would start without my intentions of attending it and I was probably taken for a freeloader. They should make so you have to push to enter it.
