Would anyone be able to create harri toivonen’s unipart mg metro 6r4. Preferably from rallylegend 2014.

I’m working on the Metro as he drove it at the 1986 Rally Manx. No other car can be perfectly replicated as they had the Unipart logo covering the rear windows.
Also stay tuned for the works Computervision and Auriol’s 33 Export cars! Those should be released tomorrow, if I can find the Metro soon enough and there aren’t any glitches making my life harder than it should be. I already got the logos ready! ; )

Thanks. I work really hard to get even the tiny details to be perfect - sometimes it takes a lot of banging your head against a wall, but I think it pays off. Anyways, the car Toivonen drove at the Rally Manx is done and on my Sharefront.
Hope you like it, and stay tuned for more! I’m not done with the Unipart cars yet. Hopefully I’ll manage to replicate the RAC/Rally Legends car too.

Clyde, really great work on the unipart livery it looks great. There is one thing that could do with being changed, it is the colour of the surefire spark plugs should be the same colour as the unipart blue. Please don’t take it personally as it is a great job you have done, just wanted to point the colour difference out that’s all

I never take suggestions like this personally, especially when they come from people far more knowledgeable on the topic than I am. I’m also noticing now that the Unipart logo’s color is a little bit more saturated that the one I used (which leads me to believe the coloring mistakes on my replica may be based on me using an old, color-degraded photo of the car that floats around the web) and the typeface used for the plate is slightly thicker on the actual car. Mh, will have to release an updated version.
Know it’s a great achievement for me to receive an othewise positive review from you.

There are a couple of images of the car on the manx in here 6R4.net Gallery | Flickr As you say the unipart logo colour is a little bit more saturated but as you say, it can be just the photo you used for reference. I know the owner of the 2nd 6R4 Harri drove in 1986 at events like the 1000 lakes rally in Finland, and the Lombard RAC rally and the unipart colour isn’t too far away from how it looks on the car today.
If ever you need any help with photos for livery references in the future just ask and I will be more than happy to help if I can.
That would be awesome, the hardest part of creating a good vintage replica is sourcing some references - it’s good to be able to count on the help of an expert.
I implemented the corrections you suggested, and also reworked the Surefire Spark Plugs stickers, the Unipart logo on the front grille, and the plates. I also decided to take the occasion to do minor corrections on the Tudor Webasto logo (the "o"s were too thick, now they’re as thick as any other character). Looks far better now.
