I must be one of the lucky ones to take a crappy photo and get a unicorn car all 3 weeks then… lol!
Lucky bigger, I’ve missed out on the last two weeks or both livery and photo. Yet others that are similar have won…
Still, can’t change those things, so it’s a matter of just keep going at it.

Picked up my real life FG X XR8 today. Manual 6 speed supercharged Miami 351 cu.in Big block, Bremo brakes all round, 19x9" on rear, 10x8" on front. Pirelli 30 a spec tyres. Full R-spec GT suspension. Will be changing the tyres to 40’s, as ride is too hard on such small profiles on Aussie roads.
The car’s a copy of the VERY limited run (500) of the GT, but these beasts are exact copies of the GTs, and are built by the factory as the last V8 locally -reduced high performance cars by Ford.
Gets to 60kph VERY fast out of the factory… It was a demo model at local Ford dealer. I scanned Australia (seriously for Manual gearbox versions, only found 11 in the right configurations. The manuals are much harder to find, but you NEED the manual with these beasts.
I’ll be dropping in at my local custom tuning service to get the Flash redone and punch out a lot more BHP, and get more miles per litre…

Congratulations on your FG X XR8! You must be thrilled to drive such a great car? and do you really need punch out more bhp out of it? 
I bought myself a brand new Peugeot 308 GT line this year. but its not much to brag about in comparison… hehe! (186 bhp lol!!!)
but its actually more then enough as the speed limit is 60mph(100 kph) over here…

Yeah, I thought they looked okay as well. It took me hours to get the .2 -I strips matching on the Formular Ford EcoBoost200, with its pearl base and blue colours overplayed at 8-% opacity, then another total overlay of just 35% of mid blue to achieve the multi-hued blue-purple colours.
I was at around 9 of the V8 Supercars on weekend and saw the CoolRide Holden entry in light blue and pure white.
It inspired my redo of the Xbox Ford FG XR8 that I entered this week. With a slightly blue tinged white with 4 tones of blue to match the ForzaRC Logo and ESL logo.
Will see how it goes.
The “Tune” will add some more BHP overall, but also give me another 1/3rd increase in fuel,economy. So while I’ll get more BHP and a bigger to urge band, I’ll get much more than the original, 13.5 rating it currently has.
Plus from factory, it has a slight “run-on” which comes from the standard chipset with acceleration, so while I disengage the clutch for the next gear, the engine runs on rather than drops immediately. So that’ll be addressed with the ‘tune’.
The factory tourque band is amazing and kicks in at 1,600rpm and runs all the way through to 6,200rpm. You can pull away from the lights in 2nd without any slip, or sluggishness. Quite good for city traffic. But I’ll be keeping Klms down to ad value to it over time. One went at auction last week for $AU100k and another private sale went for $AU75k… Not bad considering they came out from factory at $54k…
Our inner city s-we’d limits range from 4-kph, 50kph and 60kph. On our freeways and tollways, we have 80, 9-, 100 and 110kph.
We do,have outback open speed limits, or; no speed limit in some places. Our golden rule is 50 and 60 speed limits. Not sure what that is in m-h now.

How do i unlock the xy gtho?
Only way to nab one is achieve ownership the GTHO Phase III is to enter the various comps and race in the leagues. Try reading the earlier posts mate, all the info is in there…

100k doesn’t sound so bad. over here a brand new Mercedes(w205) c-class has a starting prize at around 70-80 usdollars doe to the taxes in Norway. and that is with the smallest engine!(c180)
so even when I work for Mercedes my company also owns the rights to Peugeot. so I went for the Peugeot because the cars itself has a lower price but more BHP. and they even start to look good
not easy to make a car choice when the government makes it so expensive to own and drive… hows that in AUS??
yeah we do have roads without speed limit but the golden rule is 60 kph if there are houses by the road and 80 kph if there isn’t.
Blades, yeah, our costs are high here, both with regards to goods, services and wages. But they even put in the long term.
When ppl land here and see the immense size of our country, which just slips into the entire of Nth America,with some room left over.
We have a population of just a mear 23 million give or take. Sydney alone has 6-7 of those 23 odd million, so it’s dense.
But when asked why our goods cost so much, it’s hard to explain we only have 4 main ports, 2 of which are the main import ports. And have 3 main rail links, and goods out of Melbourne must travel the entire length of our East Coast to get to say Rockhamption, Cairns etc. no tail anywhere above Rockie. So our taxes are high due to the huge transport, handling and travelling distances that have to be built into the cost of a single car.
It’s why we’re reeling in the lose of our two main car manufactures that have supplied our road cats since 1948.
If you want a performance Ford now, you’re stuck with an imported Mondeo,or a 2016 Mustange, both built overseas.
The FG X XR8 I managed to nab, was one of just 11 6 speed manuals that I could find for sale across Australia. There were many automatics, but a very limited number of the snappy 6 speed manuals. Any real enthusiasts want the brute horsepower managed via a manual box… Forgive me, I’m just an old-school guy.
Paying a solid $AU55k for one, seeing the same car go for a tidy $AU100k is a sign that within 5 yrs, they will be worth a lot more.
The GTHO Phase III was the most powerful production vehicle ever produced in Australia, with the exception on this current R-Spec X XR8. But, the HO was naturally aspired, unlike my X XR8, which is a direct drive supercharged 351 Miami Boss engine.
Only 500 of the current FG X XR8 GT were made, the FG X XR8 Sprint had 750 made. Both were sold prior to them running off the production line. The one I have is basically the GT, minus the badging. Nothing else has changed in the two cars. Other than striping kits, various interior trim accents, and a slightly different bonnet bulge.
Everything else is the same. The XY GTHOMPHASE was the same as the XY GT, with the exception of the “Shaker” air cleaner unit, the striping, and badging.
A little trick Ford has been doing for years…
I trust you have a few of the Unicornncars for FM6 mate. They are fun to drive in game… Especially when dropped slightly.

Ok. So I only just found out the XY is a unicorn car. So now that the league has finished and photo comp has past deadline. What is the current way to receive this car? Very keen to get one as I am Australian and family use to own an XY GTS

Plus remember, the leagues are in their FIRST Season, and they are running in groups 0f 3 by the looks of it.
Keep an eye out in the Competitions thread, and watch what’s up in week 51. And there could be more of the XYs up for grabs.
Plus, you don’t have to appear in the winners circle to actually win. Not all winners are mentioned in the Comp winners thread. I’ve never appeared in any, yet have won both livery and photo comps in each week, plus two weeks in the leagues.
Just keep at it, wait to see what’s up next, then just do,your best, and you could be pleasantly surprised mate…

Never. Because the elitist few who can only feel special when they have a car in their garage that they’ll never use, but know that other people want would complain too much if they let people get it.
