"Unbeatable" opponents? only when the game crashes!

I got my Ultima tuned and painted and it’s kicking booty. Twice in a row I’ve tried to have a 12 lap race at Le Mans. Once yesterday and again just now. She’s a thirsty beast so I’m putting the clutch in to coast a bit before the roundabouts so I only have to pit twice on fumes and keep that Hennessy and the 22 other cars at bay. Twice in a row I’ve got a 15 second lead on him going into the last lap and the game crashes! WTF!

It won’t let me win! I don’t have that problem with other tracks or races of similar duration. I’ve used both the new Ford GT and the Porsche RSR on Le Mans for 12 lap races and been successful. For some reason it won’t let me win with the Ultima.

Is anyone else having this issue at Le Mans, or against “unbeatable” opponents or with the Ultima?

I don’t get it.

You might want to copy & paste this to the FM6 Support section. There is a bug report thread there. Your problem may even have been reported and discussed there already.

Duly noted.

This morning I was able to complete an 8 lap race victoriously so I don’t know if they “fixed the glitch.”

Shared as “Beat unbeatable” if you want to watch me cruise in the Ultima. The only excitement is at the start and the pit entry at the end of the 4th lap. Oh, and don’t exit pit lane while drinking coffee. You’ll lose a few seconds and get passed.
