Unable to play friend on PS5

Hi all, can anyone please help?? Me and my friend both bought this game so that we could rip around the map together, but can’t join each others convoy. If i send an invite to him, it says you’ve already joined this session and if my friend send me an invite I dint receive it? We have both uninstalled and reinstalled but didn’t help. Any suggestionS?? thank you

Hi thanks for the reply! we’ve worked it out now!! you have to remove your friends from your ‘PS5’ and re-add them. once we did that we were able to play together. its still a little hit and miss at times but that could just be server issues.

Hi, we are having the same problem. It seems the game confuses the gamegroup with a convoy. If we join eachothers gamegroup, then create a convoy and invite, it says you’ve already joined! Quiting the game sometimes works, but only 2/10 times now. Also joining an event just keeps loading and then it doesnt work either. Please fix this FH5!

Hi, thanks for the tip. It worked once, but after that, just the same problem. We will try without the gamegroup and just adding the other persons name when sending an invite for a convoy.

Hi I am having the same issues when will Forza Fix this error?

I’m having the same issue, it seems it happens only on sessions where there is an initial cutsene, steps to reproduce on PS5:

  • Create a convoy with a friend
  • play any “vocho” challenge
  • it works
  • try to start another “vocho” challenge

one of the player would have a loading, then they will be able to play solo.
the other player have the initial cutscene then they will be kicked out from the session.

I truly hope you can fix this, me and my friends have bought the deluxe edition and I find very annoying you are not even able to manage a sync issue.

Please reach me out for more feedbacks and I hope you can fix this ASAP.

In my opinion i find this issue as Critical and to be fixed yesterday.
