Got my shiny new Xbox One S as a bday present and for some reason the view button refuses to work in Forza 6.
Tried 4 pads, all fine, one a brand new one which came with the console.
All view buttons on all other pads work fine in other games.
Im stuck in noob third person mode on my new console.
Can anyone advise please? I called MS and they want me to send the console back…because a button which works on every other game doesn’t work on Forza 6…yeah…okay!
Have you tried changing which button is mapped to camera views in forza 6? I’m pretty sure there are a few different layout options in settings to allow you to remap it to a different button on the controller. Then see if it still fails to work. I’m sure you have looked into that already but if not it might save you two weeks of forza withdrawal while Microsoft does brain surgery on your plastic buzzing rectangle.
Is the S a noticeable upgrade over the standard Xbox one or not worth the money? I’m waffling back and forth between staying the course, jumping to an S, or waiting for the Scorpio. I’m rocking a 3tb external hard drive so storage is not an issue but performance can be at times on my regular Xbox one.
If you already have a One, just wait for the Scorpio.
