Dam and I thought we were getting robed in Australia Compeared to USA pricing after factering in the exchange rate we seem to pay a premium of about 30% on software.
the expansions are about $30 each here individual or $52 with the pass
we are behind the rest of the world in technology, just look at our internet structure, even 3rd world countries have better internet
True to a point but most other countries have the advantage of being smaller with a much higher population density. Is much cheaper in other countries to get the same or better internet due to the massive distances between our major population centers. Take New York for an example the entire population of Australia would fit in that one city. Places like England smaller than Victoria but with a population of over 200 million. Compeared to ours of 25 million for the entire country. I just have never understood why we have to pay more for the same software. Exp last year I decided to get the new Coral Paint Shop Pro digital download, price on Coral AU website $350 use a VPN client and go to identical Coral US website $78 for the exact same digital download guess where I got it from.
