This old bug is back again for me, I just noticed it tonight.

Platform: Xbox One S
Version: 2.656.386.0
I do have a PC running v3.656.386.0 but I haven’t had a chance to see if it’s on there yet, hopefully someone on Xbox Series or Steam can offer their input if it’s happening there too.
When looking at an upgraded car in the Garage the PI is displaying correctly at the level you upgraded it to.
When you swap into it however it displays incorrectly and instead shows the vehicle’s stock PI in the top left of the menu and in races / PR Stunts.
Vehicle performance is the same so it’s just the UI glitching out.
My KITT is upgraded to S1:900 as you can see in the garage but when I enter it in Freeroam it defaults to the stock PI of A743
My Mazda MX-5 RF is upgraded to A800 and in the Race selection screen its showing correctly but when I load into the race and check the grid it’s showing the stock PI of B626 as well as at the end of the race.
The opponent AI is showing their PI as near A800 too so it seems to just be me, I haven’t checked other players online as I’d prefer not to get reported for cheating potentially if it’s also displaying incorrectly for them.

My 2017 Acura NSX is upgraded to S1:900 but as you can see when I swap to it and then open the menu it is displaying the stock PI of S1:831
