Two arcade questions from an arcade noob:
I was just in a section where we were busting pinatas. I’m roaring down the road and crashing them one after another and a message comes up on the screen about ‘ghosting’ or ‘being ghosted’. Stays up for a while counting down and then it’s gone. A little bit later it happened again, maybe three times during the section. No other cars around throughout the whole thing. What the heck did that mean?
Q2: I’d just started into the third section of the arcade, tearing along the road toward a danger sign which was the destination, and suddenly the red route marker on the road disappeared and when I looked around on the map there was no red circle for the last part. What the heck happened there?

You want to avoid the pinata’s that are shaped like a cactus, they’re an orange color, because they will send you into ghost mode so that you can’t smash anymore pinata’s til the timer runs out.
Not sure about your 2nd question but danger signs won’t have the huge red circle on the map. There will just be a red line leading to the danger sign with a very small red circle at its location.
OK, got it about the cactus pinatas, total news to me. On the second issue, the real problem was that the red line completely disappeared from the map, and I had no idea where to go to get to the danger sign - and no small red circle on the map either.
Could the game have just cancelled the arcade event midway because we weren’t making enough points, or something like that?
I’m not sure why the red line would disappear unless maybe you were already right at the danger sign location.
Maybe it’s just a case of noobiness 
I’ll catch on to these things sooner or later.
