This feature alone is a leading cause of Turn 1 incidents.
Players don’t know that track rubber builds up during practice, giving them high amounts of grip at the end of the practice session.
They go to take turn 1 at the same speeds they took it in the last few minutes of practice. Car doesn’t brake the same, car doesn’t turn the same, Crash.
Not to mention doing a qualifying lap at the start of practice will be significantly slower than doing it at the end of practice, so some players will think they’re faster than the next guy but that guy did his qualifying laps earlier with less grip.
Track rubber should only apply to the race tbh.
Players can’t properly test and adjust their tunes because there’s no way to know if the tune was improved or the track rubber made it handle better.
