This is how my racing league day has gone so far, I joined with 36 minutes remaining, I waited for the race to finish then for the next race to start. I was again, skipped and not put into the race for no apparent reason. My car had already been selected before I even joined the lobby. So I had to quit out and join another lobby. I wait for this race to finish then to start the race. CTDed on race start. I attempted to join yet again, another lobby and try for a third time, this time I get into a race. It took me 20 minutes to start ONE race. Finish that race, wait for the next race to start, I haven’t touched anything and yet again, I am skipped from the race and the race loads without me.
Are you ever going to fix your game turn 10? How are you going to host a competitive environment when it’s not even fair because players who get unlucky like me cannot even race in said events because your game is still full of bugs?
I have now been waiting 20-25 minutes to get into a game because I keep getting skipped. And what’s more? What is this? Is your restriction system broken too Turn10?
I’ll have that happen…wait to get into a race, see it’s finishing up, select a car, and then just wait. It’ll give the usual, “Waiting for Cars” prompt and then the race will just start and I’m still in the lobby. SUPER annoying.
Finished up a few races in leagues and the full proof way of staying in, was not touching a single thing while I was waiting. Same car, don’t change grid position view, don’t touch a thing, and that kept me in the following races without issues. There must be a button or some setting to not touch that otherwise will keep you out of the upcoming race, which is annoying. Sorry man.
I have managed to do 2 races in leagues so far. I have already encountered starting the race with me being in the lobby still, a black screen where I had to quit application, and a hard crash to dashboard.
Game just crashed to desktop on my second leagues race in the 3rd corner, lost league points. This is not fun. This is punishment for not using an “Xbox One X @ 4k60fps” and spending more on a far superior PC that can handle 4k way better than an Xbox One X. They must not test the updates for this game on the PC but only on the Xbox, because this last update has made the menus in switching cars as laggy as when the game first came out and the CTD’s more frequent. As a result I won’t be playing “Leagues” until this has been sorted which probably won’t happen anytime soon. So much for “built from the ground up for PC”. Turn 10 has burned PC optimization down to the ground to pave the way for more Xbox sales. Well too bad, I’m not going to buy an Xbox just to do leagues. And I certainly wouldn’t be playing leagues if they hadn’t locked cars that we all thought we could buy from the menus, or unlock from single player events behind them. Thanks Turn 10, thanks so much for this annoyance.
Just got another black screen with “race in progress” displayed but then all the sudden it jumped to the race, no audio and everyone already took off. Sound came back after a few seconds then i proceeded to try to catch up.
Had several black screens here, none of them continued. Wait to be kicked for inactivity or force close the game, neither is an option if you want to just race…
The black screen is really annoying. Had it happen once yesterday. And I keep getting put in lobbies that just started a race. It can’t be that difficult to put all new joins into their own lobby every minute, so you can actually race within a minute or two instead of having to wait eight minutes without even being able to watch the current race.
