Is there any way for Turn 10 to set up these special endurance races to put you in an empty lobby and not start the race until there’s a minimum of say, 5 other players in the lobby? I kept getting placed in an Indy 500 lobby with 90 minutes remaining until it finally put me in a lobby with 10 minutes left, and 5 others waiting to race. I know there’s going to be a 2.4 hours of Le Mans event next month and its gonna suck to get placed in a lobby with 2 hours remaining.
Wish there was was way to drop players in mid race through the pits. As I watch the F1 qualifying, it seems as if that would be a great way to run a few forza events. That is, put out a grid, and have us all racing individually for time, but together. Way more pressing issues, and I doubt they would put a way to zone into an already active event…still…would be cool!
ok…in the lobby there is the “invite friends” button, so a few friends can each join a lobby and the person with the shortest wait invites the others. If you live on the west coast of America, play late at night when the eastern half have retired for the night, and its early morning to the west, in the Pacific, where there are a few gamers, expt. for Hawaii and Guam. A Lucky Few. On the east coast, look for early morning, since few people live in the Atlantic. Same for calculus for other regions. Played Indy Hopper 10:30PM last Fri with a 17 min wait. BTW had a great time, yes there was LOTS of crashing but still made my 500mi doing sub 40.0 sec lap times.
if you get stuck in a lobby with a long wait time back out and re enter, you are placed in another lobby. if you are given a 2+ hour wait thats the lobby with the max wait time. i was put in that to start at indy. backed out and the 2nd time i was put in a lobby with a 5 minuet wait. i almost ran out of time emptying my bladder and changing my batteries so i was sure i could go 2.5 hours problem free. they seem to run a minimum of 4-5 lobbies at a time and when you back out and come back in you are put in a lobby you haven’t been entered in yet. i never had to wait even 20 minuets.
