Hey I’m making my focus rs trying to make for competitive b class but but don’t know if upgrades I’m using is the best options I made it a 600 b class car but keep getting blown away I’m new to upgrades and tuning but starting to figure it out and downloaded the forza 6 tune app thanks for advise
I typed up a massive reply and then the forum gave an error and i lost everything i typed.
To save me typing 2 builds and tunes, is it the '09 focus RS or the '17 focus RS?
I’ve built and tuned both for B class but not sure how competitve they’ll be, i’m guessing everyone runs those annoying civics in B class.
It is the 17
OK.
So for the '17 focus i’ve converted it to RWD because AWD has been nerfed ever since Forza 4.
I didn’t notice you could use a restrictor to nerf the engine until late on, so theres room in there to use the restrictor to get maximum weight reduction, since this tune is open source you can play around all you want
The build…
Drivetrain swap to rear wheel drive.
Stock engine upgrades.
Race brakes, race springs, race arbs, sport weight reduction.
Race gearbox, race diff
Stock compound, maximum tyre width front and rear. Rims any that are -12lbs
Race aero front and rear.
The tune…
Stock tyre pressure
Gearing is up to you
Front camber 0.0, Rear camber -0.5 (there’s scope here to play around and make front camber more negative if you need more turn in)
Front toe 0.0 Rear toe 0.0
Caster 4.5
Anti roll bars - 23.35 or there abouts, both should be same.
Front springs 685.1 in/lbs
Rear springs 604.6 in/lbs
Ride height lowest estting front and rear.
Damping - Front and rear rebound 6.6, Front and rear bump 1.0
Aero - Max front downforce, minimum rear downforce
Braking 48% rear, adjust pressure to suit yourself.
Differential 60 Accel, 10 Decel
Let me know how you get on with it, i only took about 10 minutes throwing it together so i can probably improve it a lot so if you have any feedback, maybe you need some tweaking then let me know
