Due to confusion I have give the parts NOT allowed their proper title which is Race or rally springs and dampers. Everything else to do with platform and handling including street/sport springs can be used.
Looking Forward to This Bee loved the last competition you did and so up for this one.
HLR Warrior
Details now posted, check opening post,
thanks and good luck,
Bee
Additional question. Do you and the test driver have the funds, and all of the cars available to you? For example if people were to enter a 250 GTO, 250 Testa, DBR1, D-Type, 300S, Cobra etc-. (By the way those are all B class cars from the start.) I just want to make sure because this comp could make some people broke real quick if all of those cars were entered.
No worries all cars in garage waiting for your builds ![]()
Good choice on track and class
I’m interested in knowing if current leaderboard cars on this track are going to bee used. I know there is no restriction per say, but imho, it would somewhat take the fun out of it, at least for me anyway. But to each his own i guess ;>). On a side note, i would love to have some of my fellow competitors chuck me fr’s over xbl. Would enjoy chasing some of your ghosts directly. Best of luck to you all.
I took at the leaderboard this morning. I didn’t notice a particular car jump out. There was the barn find Alpha and a BMW 2002 turbo that showed up more often. The Alpha may be a little leaderboardish, but the BMWs are probably just fast drivers.
Is it too late to join? I love running D and C class cars. I’ve noticed my leaderboard times are often among the fastest for the cars I’ve used. Might be fun to see how one stacks up in another driver’s hands.
My choice of car and tune has been sent.
So do we have until the 28th to enter and submit a tune, or has that ship sailed?
Tune sent in PM.
1 day left to knock something up, post #2 details of who has or is yet to still submit their car details.
Just checking in.
Yup, now closed. Couple too late to get there build’s in. Car’s will be run this weekend as preferencee is to run all in one sitting rather than split them over consecutive days. Will post results either Sunday PM (UK) or Monday AM (UK), if not sooner,
Thanks to those that entered, Bee.
Curious, did i make it in? With xbl being down and me being from the US, i still think i made it. If not, next time then. I used the alfa spider. I’ll chuck it in my sf for those who would like to compare.
cool, I’m as curious to see car choices as I am to see the times racked up.
Pity I was busy and did not see this before it closed. I’m disappointed in myself since I was on the forum and didn’t even notice the thread.
This looks like a very fun idea and I wish I could participate if it happens again in the future. Good luck all.
AD your in I got your pm in time.

Alpha dog: me too, and I saw you a few spots ahead of me on the leaderboards. Now we get to find out if that’s because my admitted lack of finesse behind the wheel might be dragging down an otherwise viable car. =D
(when I first built the car it was to use as a dark horse in D class to surprise fiat 131 drivers and to avoid having to deal with ram-happy noobs in showdown races. It forces a lot of opponent DNF’s at car shows. I basically just pumped up traction slightly and power a lot from the D class version and other than gearing, didn’t touch the tuning menus. May the best spider win. ![]()
