Tunes not responding

Every since the new car pack came ive had issues now none my cars are responding to their tumes even cars i know respo d well are all over ive checked everything, its hard to write these threads unless more people have the same issue,These are my ow tunes and i reset it worked for a while then the tune did not again

What exactly do you mean tunes not responding?

Do you mean (for example) that if you put the front ARBs to max or to min the car reacts the same in both cases?

Yeah i went crazy changing the sliderbars not a thing i put it on beginners and cant win when i was winning in unbeatable most of the time i have no clue whats the problem is if its my box or the game or both

Remember that there used to be a tune issue. There has been no announcement if its fixed but in FM5 you had to redownload tunes (that is if you are using downloaded tunes).

The cars I have driven since have been fine.

It appears they patched the “unlocked tune” bug with the latest car pack, but who knows what else they did. Were any patch notes published?

LOL, JUST NOTICED IF YOU LOAD A SAVED AND LOCKED TUNE THE FRONT SETTINGS DO NOT LOAD!
What a joke, get it right already T10!

If you load a purchased (LOCKED) Tune, you cannot change or see the settings. So how do you know they’re not loading?

Telemetry, front camber is default (-.5 ), rear camber tuned (-3.4).
This was Worms '05 STI. I know the front camber should be -3.5

I downloaded W0rm’s 05 WRX tune for the Rivals challenge, and it wasn’t acting like a W0rm tune. According to some telemetry parts weren’t responding the way he intended them to such as the front camber.

I did notice that the bug pertaining to the tune remaining if you rebuilt it has been fixed, which is a start I guess. When I rebuilt the car (and did not reset the tune settings) they loaded up all default and I was able to make my own tune.

Yet if you do it with your own tune you are still left with the previous settings even if you change parts.

Well, I guess that makes sense since resetting default upgrades and resetting tuning settings are two separate funtions.
But these other problems are the same old story, though they fixed viewing a locked tune a little faster here than in FM5.
Tuning a stock gearbox is a bug from FM3 and yet it appears again.

I guess the general assumption is that if you reset the parts, the tune should also reset since the upgrade parts are no longer present but you’re right.

When I usually reset the upgrades I also go in and reset the tune.

W0rm I noticed that driving your B700 '05 WRX and driving it with the stock set up they were practically identical in feel and behaviour. I know this is no fault of your own and hopefully it gets fixed soon. I’m sure your tune is much better than the one I have created.

No these are my own tunes

All I can say is my tuning is having the normal effect on the cars since the update.

If yours are not then you may need to do a cold reboot or maybe reinstall the game but make sure there is not something you are missing.

Sigh

PPi delete the tune, search for it on storefront and install from storefront do not save it for later application.

Edit: you cannot swap between saved, locked tunes as you only get the backend right.

I did. I went out and bought a second WRX and installed his tune on it right away so I wouldn’t mess with the A Class WRX I had. I will try downloading it gain though.

It needs to be a fresh download, not sure if that is what you did or not but try it again.

I rebooted and everything is fine its happend twice since then but rebooting seems to do the trick any thoughts on what it might be?

When you say it has happened twice since then what exactly is happening?

Do you have a tune on a car and if you drive it once it feels as you expect but eventually it starts feeling strange?

Or is it that you keep changing settings and they are not affecting the car the way you expect them to?
