After the latest update I am unable load about 80% of my tunes. It is by car, if one doesn’t load none are available. If you take what it on the car and save a new tune it can’t be loaded. I have multiple copies of a single car and it affects every one. Some are perfectly fine. Suspecting something related to the ones transferred from FM6 but I have two that sill work.
Before I spend the hours reconstructing from notes can anyone confirm that at least the load bugs are fixed?
Doesn’t matter were I try to load them. The files are locked with an exclamation point and will not load. It appears that the cars are broken as well because if I make adjustments and save, it creates another locked file. Buy a new car and new tunes can be created but you can not load the broken files.
When I first posted I would swear that my NASCAR Chevy that is #2 at Daytona was broken but now it appears to be limited to just my 69, 77, 87, and 02 Pontiac Trans Am’s. Hopefully it is some sort of sync issue that will sort itself out. I’m able to write down the last tune I was working on from each car but I did loose the Daytona Oval tune for the 87 which was #2. Fortunately that was more build than tune and should be easy to recreate. It’s loosing 20 or so track specific tunes I had for the 69 T/A that I used nightly in multiplayer that has me questioning how much I really want to keep playing this game.
Wow, Crash. That sucks. I got on last night to look and try my GTO tunes (I did pull some of these from FM6.), but didn’t see this issue…yet. But I have been very leery of all these bugs. Not being able to trust a save is as basic as it gets.
I did play some multiplayer last night and actually got the tunes to load correctly right before races. So that is a step in the right direction.
But I hear you. I find myself questioning how much more time I want to spend with this game. I’ve heard others losing their paints, etc. If that happens to me, I doubt I’d want to go to the trouble of rebuilding/restoring everything. The game really isn’t that awesome for me to want to do that. I find myself not tuning any new cars much right now and waiting for more stability.
A few days ago, I got on FM6 to do a little “Ghost League” action…Man, it was nice to have stable, non-laggy racing! Everything seemed snappier. Man, I miss that experience.
LOL I just noticed my first 02 T/A tune that I brought over from FM6 wasn’t broken. Everything else based on it was. It is not the car. Once you get a good tune on the car you can save new tunes. Went over to the 77 T/A and tried resetting to “default tuning” and recreating the tune and it still saved a locked and unloadable tune. Once I grabbed a FM6 one without the 5.7 (so it could be loaded) I was able to recreate new tunes without buying a new car. It acts just like the illegal tunes from FM6 so I’m suspicious that the files got corrupted with some form of illegal or incorrect parts due to some bug that is now fixed. It would be nice to get a “yeah sorry but due to this bug those tunes are forever broken and need to get locked”… in the release notes.

I am still seeing issues loading! Loaded from Garage and Test area. Yet, car behaves similar, thus, not sure if it actually changes the settings and/or it is just what visually gets displayed. Very odd indeed.
Wow, I guess in the process of fixing the ability to view locked tunes they screwed up something else.
I haven’t experienced the problem you are having, although I did download one tune that had all exclamations by the stats, so I just deleted it.
I’m getting broken tunes as well. My saved tunes on a few cars are showing an orange triangle with an exclamation mark in the Center. The tune will not load. How do I fix it.
