Tuners! help needed with tune refinement

So lately I’ve been taking part in an organised racing championship arranged by turn media. It is the #45 flying lizard Audi R8 LMS Ultra with a spec build as follows.
Race Valves
Race Brakes
Race Drive Line
Max tyre width front and rear
PI 825.

My next race is at Long Beach and I’m hitting 1:20.5’s consistent which ain’t bad, but I want more as the lead pack will be towards a second quicker.
At a push I can do 20.1’s but I feel I’ve hit the limit of my tuning and for sure the track.
Here is my current tune.

29/29
4.60/2.29/1.70/1.33/1.10/0.94/0.84
^need a 1st gear ratio for good launch with TCS

6.5/7.0
3.5/4.0
138/650
60%/200% < no issues at all locking up before mentioned lol.
100/0

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Next track after long beach is Sebring Short.

EDIT RESULTS AFTER HELP PROVIDED

OK so the Results are in and been counted and verified
First massive thank you to all for taking the time to help me out with this.

So all tunes have been tested without change for 10 laps each, with and without TCS I’m TEST DRIVE mode.
If interested my over settings are as follows.
Deadzones, all inside 0 all out side 100
Break line, normal steering, no abs, manual and cosmetic.

Sadly no 19’s :pensive: and I have pushed the limits of each tune and the track every single time.

^5 gear: 1:20.182 1:20.175

^traditional: 1:20.805 1:20.637
Dsquared: 1:20.579 1:20.726
Johnson: 1:20.556 1:20.886
Me: 1:20.163 1:20.328

There are aspect in all tunes that I liked guess I’ll try to mold them together,

WARLOCK yours was Beautifully planted and the gears where very nice, think I might play with the Areo on yours but that’s it.

PRKid Yours was for me the most consistent the 6 gear not needed works so much better with just 5 gears, felt most at home in yours.

D SQUARED I loved how aggressive yours is, made me feel like I was really attacking the track the turn in is on point.

JOHNSON yours scared the hell out me with no TCS lol like it was on rails, handled those curbs nicely though but I did struggle to slow it down and getting it to the apex.

So I’m not sure why I’m not hitting the 19’s when you guys are, I’m pushing to the max but no joy. Like I said I’ll try and pull all of the aspects I liked together and I now have a lot of great tunes and variety for my remaining races so thanks again to you all.

I’ll check this out and see what i come up with. I think.i may have a tune that i never shared with an 865pi (no much difference) im going to bed now but will post it tomorrow.

Nice look forward to trying it, thanks

.
I also have an older tune that I can check out for you and compare with the one you posted. I am sure that between what W4RLOCK and I share we can collaborate on something useful for you. Maybe a “tweener” tune based on the various inputs, and, making sure it meets your driving style/preferences.

You haven’t mentioned your differential settings.

Oh thanks I’ll edit that lol

Done

Running it now

I can say right away that tcs really needs to be turned off unless it part of league rules because u lose so much speed with it on its insane

Doing the same thing right now, and, I completely agree with Johnson, TCS is probably taking away between 4 tenths to a second from your potential times based on my tests. I would also run with a lot less rear aero, almost at min. Both TCS and high aero is masking a couple of items on the rest of your settings.

** Will post proposed tune shortly.

Alrite dude thanks, you all saying the same thing about the TCS but I’ve always been faster with it on. So I don’t quiet get that bit aha guess I never did like doing things the normal way so to speak lol

I know what your saying but when the tune is right TCS is faster than without typically it’s worth half a second or so for me. If it’s bogging to much then my tune needs sorting on the rear. I know it’s common knowledge that it faster without but these GT cars prefer it and the same for running manual on it instead manual/clutch

I haven’t tried without TCS as I always use it, but my first thoughts were this might be one of those cases where TCS genuinely holds you back

Now normally I run no assists and manual n clutch but with GT cars it is my experience that TCS and Manual are preferable especially when people like LRT Breeze runs with that.

She’s soft but works well for long beach, if too soft add 10 to 20% to springs and ARBS…
May not suit your driving style. No TC needed as is very easy to put the power down… hitting low 19’s at testing.

Thanks dude I’ll jump on that and get back to you :+1:

Low 19s? Christ! Surely I’m not held back by TCS that much!? :frowning:

Caesar, I’ve been tuning the car for 60 odd laps. I’ve managed to get down to 1.19.597 and I was really happy with it and I thought that was flying, lol. If people are running low 19s or better without TCS you’ll simply have to go the no TCS route. I can’t imagine there’s much more in my lap for the TCS user. At least not with my setup. I did try warlocks setup and for me it was probably .3-.5 off what I can hit with my setup. I’ll share my setup for you, if you feel it’s faster than your own we can talk
