Handbrake mode, not working, only run sequential mode.
Hi, same problem…
I use TSS handbrake + TM Hub on Series X
Having the same issue as well. Sequential mode works, but handbrake mode doesn’t and it won’t let map the handbrake function either
I am also having the same problem. I can not configure it in the controller settings (wheel) menu. Using an XBox One standard game console with a Thrustmaster TX wheel.
I’ve also noticed my TH8A shifter only works in sequential mode too. It seems the game can’t recognize inputs on an axis besides the pedals
This is pathetic. Bugs like this should not exist, i mean don’t they test the game in house to see if peripherals actually function. The game has been in development for how long?
Will hold of setting up my wheel setup until this is fixed, not happy about this at all.
Damn this is disheartening considering I can’t even get my TS-XW to work on PC but was hoping to use my whole rig. ._.
“For now, external handbrakes are not compatible on the xbox version of the game. Will be probably solved on a coming soon update of the game .”
Same issue here, neither the handbrake nor the shifter
Got mine to work remapped rt shift paddle(rb) as e-brake and tss on sequential.thrustmaster tx leather edition on xbox one
Noticed clutch and handbrake does not work with series x. Im using ts hub with xw-races.
Just throwing my name in here too: also having this issue and it’s a huge bummer. Having a bunch of people over this weekend and was looking forward to showing off the latest and greatest Forza game on the Series X with my steering wheel setup in hopes of getting more of my friends on board with getting this game… and I guarantee the first thing they will do is try to pull that sweet looking E-Brake lever or try to use the H-Gate shifter, neither or which work. Not a good look, especially considering all previous Forza games use this setup without issues.
Considering the amount of polish found throughout virtually every other facet of this game, I am kind of shocked that this somehow got missed.
Yes there will support has been terrible. How the hell did it get through QA with supported wheels when half of them don’t work and show disconnected controller as soon as you try to use them.
I submitted a ticket for it. The response was “this isn’t an in-game issue so we can’t help you.” FH5 carries forward their legacy of crappy support.
Submitted ticket too they sent me email with controller trouble shooting guide which does not make any sense.
