I’m sure this is partially due to me playing the game on an Xbox one S, however trying to set speed trap records is proving to be very difficult.
I use a koenigsegg Agera RS with AWD at X999 to set speed trap scores but quite often I have to get a long run up to set the score I’m aiming for. After the car reaches 240+ MPH the game can’t load the map fast enough and eventually the car stops like it hit a wall and I resume my run from 0 mph all over again. This does not happen in races but I use slower cars to race with.
Is there something I can do to avoid this happening?
I and a few others have had this happen mid air doing a really long jump on a danger sign … high speed required for jump …
^wot he said^ just use rewind
The same issue happens to me all the time. I am on an Xbox One S too. If I am driving very fast the game doesn’t render quickly enough and there is assets loading in and pop in everywhere then I hit the invisible wall. Only happens in free roam.
Happens to everyone as far as i know. If you’re going above 230mph on the motorway the road just vanishes as the game tries to catch up, doesn’t happen in a drag event but does when you’re online. I guess the enviroment, AI cars and players (along with custom vinyls and parts) are too much for the game to handle sometimes.
This problem is easy to replicate, just get up on the big curved train bridge angle your car so its firmly wedged against the opening in the side of the wall with the front of the car sticking out into the path of the train, get hit exceed crazy speed and its less than a second till the game dumps speed to 0km/h and drops you to the ground
Just needs a solution to it now, surely the devs have some sort of software they can run while getting train rammed a few times to work out whats causing this speed dump error, its got to be something in the coding, maybe networking or memory usage who knows, im sure they can fix it!
