Track Handling Index for Cars

Are there any resources available that can give me a general idea of what my handling index should be for each track?

It would be amazing if it could show the breakdown by class as well.

U can look at rivals tunes and get overall idea how much grip u need.

If you mean the overall numbers for acceleration, braking, handling and speed they are rubbish anyway.
You can’t put a number on a track and say this value is sufficient, it doesn’t work like that. Especially how off these index numbers are from reality anyway as I mentioned.

Ale the thing is on some tracks u need more downforce (like grand oak, maple, suzuka, spa, hakone), and on others u need mostly mechanical grip (like hockenheim, Miami, Indianapolis, road america)

Tho handling index is quite accurate, it’s not the best way to decide if your car have enough grip.

As mentioned above those index numbers mean just about nothing. It’s best to just test your builds out and compare lap times.

I have an A class car with 5.4 acceleration and 5.6 speed but another build (same class) with 4.8 acceleration and 5.0 speed is actually faster. Not sure exactly how that number is calculated but it’s not as simple as higher number = better always.

I used speed as an example but the same goes for handling.

did you even look, I posted this a little while ago.
