Which engine option do you prefer for Standard models?
Yeah would love to see either the japanese Vitz GRMN (not be confused with the earlier GRMN Turbo, which I would love to see too!) or the european spec Yaris GRMN (though the latter would be more likely cuz of the WRC connection).
Fun fact, it wasn’t the first GR car. The first was the iQ GRMN, followed by the iQ GRMN Supercharger and the Mark X GRMN. The Vitz GRMN Turbo followed later, and then in 2017 we got the Yaris/Vitz GRMN together with a host of GR and GR Sport models (e.g. Vitz GR/Yaris GR Sport: both feature suspension components and tyres from the Yaris GRMN/Vitz GRMN).
Or the Copen GR Sport, just love that car.
The next (current) gen Yaris also got a GR Sport model (europe only) but it was discontinued after one year. I think the two GR Sport models currently sold in Europe are the Hilux GR Sport with handling elements inspired by the Dakar Hilux and the Corolla/Corolla Touring Sports GR Sport (actually, the Yaris GR Sport has been re-introduced with the 2024 facelift, as a hybrid only though)
The iQ Supercharger, despite having the same amount of units (100) sold as the normal iQ GRMN, is costing upwards of 35k, more like 40k on the used market. After the GRMN Yaris (the hardcore version of the GR Yaris) and the GT86 GRMN, it must be one of the most expensive GR models.
