Toyota brought back the Hilux in Japan in 2017 after a 13-year-absence and it was imported from Thailand. This is the only pickup truck you can buy in the Land of the Rising Sun. Under the hood, the Hilux is powered by Toyota’s 2GD-FTV 2.4L diesel engine that produces 150PS of power and 400Nm of torque, which doesn’t sound so brisk for pickup standards but it’s still got some push and pull. Because the Hilux has a wide reputation for being unbreakable, it comes with a highly rigid frame like most pickups have, high tensile steel sheets, specially developed crumple zones, and impact-absorbing structures.
In late 2021, a GR SPORT variant was offered.

Yes, only USA gets Tacoma and Tundra.
Hilux is best-selling from where I’m living, and the GR-S too.

Even the ones sold new in Japan now are made in Thailand so it only counts as jdm if sold there in Japan brand new even though it’s no longer manufactured there
there should be an option on the arctic trucks to remove the big arctic flairs and provide the normal n70 flairs in my opinion
We need newer Hilux in FH5, unfortunately its not sold in USA but it is here in México.
