Took a stab at painting

Well, guys I took a stab at painting over the last couple of days. Take a look and let me know what you think. NOTE. I am not an artist or a graphic designer. I have about zero experience and have a substantial lack of creative ability.

This is pretty much just a copy of BRE Nissan. I did this as mostly just a warm up to sort of learn how to use the various tools in the paint shop and to get familiar working with them. The the text is all pretty much stock with some sizing and stretching to make it in more. The Yokohama logo I did on my own. I feel like this car turned out pretty good. Not super crisp, but I am happy with how it turned out.

This is my OKC Thunder Camaro. This was my attempt mostly at making a custom logo. The logo is all mine but again the text is stock with sizing and skew modifications. The rest of the car is basically just a canvas for the logo. But it is my own creation. Because of that I am proud of it. Like the last one I know it’s not perfect, but I think, and hope, it’s at least a good start.

Critique and advice are certainly welcome.

Hey these look pretty neat. Great job man. Dont worry about your skills as long as you keep trying. Am the same as you, am a programmer by profession. The community is quite supportive. Ask ppl for guidance am sure the will give you good tips.
