I knew there was a tune limit, but for my purposes it doesn’t matter since I don’t upload them. But there’s also a limit on painting? So, I can’t have more than 300 cars in my garage painted? Is there a way around this? If not, what’s the point?
There is.
- Auction the car with the livery with the maximum bid and buyout and put the duration to 1 hour. The idea is that no one is supposed to buy it. Obviously this doesn’t work with cars that people will buy for any price like the RX-7 and Forzathon Porsches.
- Delete the livery from your save.
- Wait an hour for the auction to end and claim your unsold car back, still with livery on.
Or if you have a friend, sell the car to your friend via auction, delete the livery and then have your friend sell the car back to you. Then you’re not waiting an hour.
Great tip!
The exceptions you’ve mentioned don’t matter since they amount to a negligible amount compared to how many designs you can save.
Tunes don’t require this obviously since you can keep them on the car regardless of whether you’ve saved them.
That seems like it might be really tedious, but if it works, I’ll take it. Thanks guys.
You can just save the paint to the car and not share it. This way it stays on the car but isnt a taking up the 300 shared spots.
I thought I could do that MKLAR, but that’s not how it works, because that’s what I always do. For some reason saving it to car still saves it to the catalogue, because that’s what I did yesterday when the error message came up.
Unless of course you know a different way to do it, because I’d be happy if there was a faster way to do it.
I guess youll have to do the action version. I dont have but 35 designs so I didnt know it wouldnt work.
Auction thing works, except when people buy your freaking car. Stupid stuff. This should never have been an issue.
