I was wondering which Baja Beetle race you guys were talking about, I just made a straight beeline from the time I launched the mission and got to the photo area with 20 seconds to spare or so (from memory)…if you guys are following the SUGGESTED LINE you’ll never make it, that’s like the Top Gear Challenges from FH4…that first mission on the Lotus, you have to literally turn around 180 degrees and ignore the suggested route if you hope to 3 star it.
I know, if you didn’t know this, it sucks to try and grind it out and throw your controller in frustration, the game basically leads you astray. Even a simple verbal cue like “You know the route on the GPS may not be the fastest method, get creative!” or something would help a lot, I think new players especially look to the GPS the way we all do…“oh this is how I get there!”…and get screwed in the process.
As for the other race, I’m not there yet, but I will say this: Any time I have to race S2, I turn on TCS, period, end of story, done, even if the car is AWD…High S1 or S2? Turn on TCS, heck even turn on Stability Control, against the AI feel free to bully them off the road.
